“Excellent pub serving great food. Only downside is it can get too busy! Has a small campsite onsite as well, ideal if you have a camper or motorhome for a stopover. Right on the river Thames!”

“Staying overnight in Lechlade from Solihull to visit family and went to Monica’s Plaice, a very short walk from where we are staying at The Riverside Inn. My 4 children each had a children’s meal and they were superb! Especially the fish & chips. A great portion size, wonderful value for money, cooked fresh to order and very very tasty! Will definitely be coming back when we visit again”

“Absolutely fantastic food, attentive staff and the best meal we have had out at a pub in a long time. We were so surprised at how great it was and was fairly priced too. Anyone complaining about the small portions is simply used to eating massive oversized plates of food, but my husband who has a hearty appetite as a body builder was more than happy with the portion. The ketchup was great and the lack of Heinz reflects the quality of food-if you prefer the latter, a Harvester is a better choice.”
