The Swan At Southrop
Southrop, LechladeI have been a fan of The Swan for years - but particularly at the moment - everything is really on point! The Sunday roast I enjoyed recently was probably the best I have had anywhere, ever. Service was delightful, and with apparent tweaks to lighting (and with candlelight) the atmosphere was perfect

Hillier Garden Centre Lechlade
A417 Warrens Cross, LechladeWent to the restaurant today on a whim for coffee and a bite to eat, Our first choice of a fish finger sarnie wasn't available so opted for a tuna melt and fish and chips. Both hit the spot but the fish and chips are worthy of special mention. The fish was a good size, well cooked with excellent light, crispy batter. The chips were also nice and crispy, not a sign of excess grease.
What made it extra special was that the fish and chips were on half price offer - well worth the money.
Well done to the chef, especially since the restaurant was very busy. We were warned that there would be a delay but the food turned up in good time!
