Unless you know what you want, where it is and do not need assistance then I would avoid Lechlade Garden Centre today. The franchises (e.g. Maidenhead Aquatics, Pavers) were staffed but the only member of Garden Centre staff we could find was one lady on the till. As she had a queue of at least 6 people we decided to leave without buying what we had gone for.

If you want a very quiet wander this is the place, hardly any customers but it's pricier than some garden centre's and not as good as it was when Mountain Warehouse and the Works was there. It is well laid out and plenty of room, and it has a Cafe and once again that is quite expensive for what you get.

I went with a couple of friends for a cuppa tea and a light lunch, which was lovely. Later had a walk around the centre, up to the live fish section and ooh and ahh at the lovely fishes. I bought some lovely cakes for 2 for £5, and a couple of other items that had been reduced.

A nice local garden centre with good sales at the moment

Great Christmas Sale Bargains. Excellent breakfast too. We'll worth a visit.

Good sale of Xmas goods. Cafe had slow service and limited variation of cakes. The young members of staff were working hard but perhaps needed someone helping provide a bit of organisation

Incredibly slow service at the restaurant, with dishes not available and a lack of disabled parking. Definitely not worth the considerable prices which they charge.

Great breakfast on Sunday, full English very tasty good value. Free tea or coffee refills. Be prepared to wait a while slow service but worth the wait.

This is a lovely, very spacious garden centre, inside & out.We especially liked the aquatic centre & Pavers department, a really good selection of shoes & boots.

Visited the Cafe today, waited 45 mins for a toasted sandwich and jacket potato. Both good when finally arrived. This was after waiting in a queue for 19 mibs to order a coffee

We head to the sales bench before anything else as most things in there are worth the price and can need brought back from the dead. The Pets Corner is always good and the cafe is OK.

Wow so wished we had read the reviews on here first. Came just for the cafe. What a disappointment.wfe and daughter had a cheese roll.... £9 for a cheese roll!!! Advertised as a baguette, it's far from a baguette. Don't even get any crisps on the side. I wanted ham but they didn't have any, what place doesn't have ham on a Saturday lunch time. Go out and buy some!!!!!! And the wasps. Well unless you like to share your sub standard over priced food with wasps then don't go here. And the staff clearly don't want to be working here either.

Caffè is a nightmare, you wait forever to be served. Coffee half a cup of luke warm liquid. Asked for a toasted tea cake only to be told I don't think we have any then whilst sat at our table surrounded by with no exaggeration 5 to six wasps 2 tea cakes delivered to the next table!! The cafe has certainly gone down hill!

Great garden centre with nice staff in the shops. However the cafe was a complete joke , the lady on the till should never have this job ,ridiculously slow and it wasn't even that busy. Dont try and eat outside either with swarms of wasp.
