Having had numerous take-always near and far. I’ve lost count particularly with the curry houses both in Bristol and Gloucester as I compare tonight’s meal. The Bengal Balti has just delivered the BEST chicken-sag-balti toned down slightly with a bit of extra yogurt I’ve ever had. There aren’t enough superlatives to describe the curry meal. SUPERB !Martyn

Good food; you can tell how good it is by how busy it is!

Very nice food. Both lamb curry and chicken jalfrezi were great. Still can't get over the difference in portion size and stlye of a Scottish restaurant chicken pakora and an English one. If you're Scottish order a double portion! ?

We ate here a couple of nights ago after it had been recommended by a local chap. 8.30 on a Tuesday night and the place was empty. Not put off by this we had a fantastic meal and I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to anyone who loves Asian food. The young waiter was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. He explained the majority of their mid week business was takeaways, which I guess is par for the course. This would be a regular haunt if I lived locally.

Fantastic Service and beautiful food. I cannot praise these guys enough for our experience with them.Dietary restrictions: They went above and beyond to accommodate my food allergy.

Had a fantastic takeaway, the food tasted very good with lots of flavour. The staff were extremely polite and checked that everything was in the bag before handing it over. Definitely recommend.

Great food at good prices, friendly staff and quick service.Vegetarian options: The veggie dishes are great, with a bit of a kick. Veggie pathia is lovely.
Honestly amazing, we stopped in nearby bream for a relaxing weekend and popped over for a takeout. The chana masalla and and cauliflower bhaji was just literally out of this world and the king prawn madrass was just so so good. I wish I lived here so I could eat this all the time ? I might even take detours on future trips to pay this establishment a visit!

So this is our local Indian, we have had several take aways and been here as a couple with no issues and can't fault the food. However go with more than 2 people and expect a ridiculous wait. from 6.05 to 7.45 we had poppadoms and the table next to us that were just a couple were waiting 45 mins and only had poppadoms. In the end I had no choice but to ask for the food to be in takeaway boxes. When recieved I went up to pay and my mum got told 'this is the 2nd time you have done this, we would rather give your table to someone else and the restaurant has been here longer than you and will be here a lot longer' we said 1.5 hours for poppadoms was ridiculous and the manager argued loudly across the restaurant that it was only an hour and didn't apologise at all. The couple next to us was horrified and said we should refuse to pay for the way we were spoken to, we didn't do this but we left feeling very angry and upset with how we were spoken to and wouldn't want to subject anyone to this service. Takeaway only unless you have 3 hours to spare.

We visited today for a family meal and arrived at 6:05, we then left at 7:50 after only having poppadoms which is an absolute joke. To then be insulted by a waiter saying its the 2nd time we have done this, well maybe if you got food out in time instead of prioritising take aways then it wouldn't happen! Food is great every time we have ate but service is shocking!

Awful awful awful….spent almost 1.5 hours waiting for food and we had no choice to get it as take out as had to go elsewhere. Then my wife was verbally abused by the staff in front of my children, not even an apology, just told us ‘we don’t care we will always be here’….we walked out in total shock…avoid at all costs, they were empty at 8pm on a Saturday night, you can see why!!! Please share as no one should feel they have the right to give verbal abuse!!!
