Amigos Mexican Grill & Bar
47-49 Newerne St, LydneyThe place was great barely any people at night, but I see why. Food was amazing, it took minutes just to get the food done. They also have so lovely Churros! The service was great, they didn't come up every 5 minutes (like most restaurants do) but did check if the food was good.Vegetarian options: Most of the foods that they had always came with tons of vegetablesKid-friendliness: The place has songs on for people to enjoy and the staff are very friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: The parking is very hard to get to. But ther are no stairs to were everything is Accessable

Greggs
63 Newerne St, LydneyIt's a sandwich shop. One moan. The subs, sandwiches and rolls none come with mayo and no sachets of mayo available to apply to your own sandwich. Fresh with generous fillings, also try a pastry, de-lish. Every town should have a Greg's.

Kunming Chinese Take Away
Forest Rd, LydneyKun Ming is our local go-to Chinese, the food is always hot and tasty, seldom greasy and cooked fresh. Their Sweet and Sour Chicken and Pancake Rolls are a particular favourite and their Egg Fried Rice and Mushroom Chow Mein are always on our order. The service can be hit and miss, they do not always have a delivery driver some sometimes it's pick only which can be inconvenient and delivery times can also be hit and miss. We have been told 50 minutes and the food has arrived within 35 minutes but we have also been told (more than once) that it will be 50 minutes and yet 2 hours later we have had to call back and eventually go and collect. Also they don't take card payments either in store or over the phone which can be inconvenient. In short, the food is fantastic and, if you catch the delivery right you won't be disappointed.

Hips Harbourside
Harbour Rd, LydneyAnother visit to Hips Habourside. Consistently some of the best coffee for miles around and very nice banana loaf. Wish the council would add some covered seating as that would really make it an all season venue. On my last visit a strong north easterly wind was blowing making it cold to sit outside.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat and wheelchair accessible.

The Bridge Cafe
Bridge House, 38 Newerne St, LydneyFirst visit here but not the last. It's small but cosy, nice and clean and the food was lovely. Staff are really friendly...what else do you want. You have to use the car park which is a couple of mins walk. Toilet a bit tight for a wheelchair and could do with a refurb but will forgive this as it's nice and clean. The takeaway cake is nice as well. Overall it is the best cafe we have been to so far in lydney
