First visit here but not the last. It's small but cosy, nice and clean and the food was lovely. Staff are really friendly...what else do you want. You have to use the car park which is a couple of mins walk. Toilet a bit tight for a wheelchair and could do with a refurb but will forgive this as it's nice and clean. The takeaway cake is nice as well. Overall it is the best cafe we have been to so far in lydney

There were 7 of us for breakfast. Really quick service and all our food came out piping hot and quickly. Lovely big pot of tea. Couldn't fault it and will definitely return when in the area.

For a village cafe the bridge is brilliant, great food, friendly service and value for money. You may have to wait a while to get in at busy times.

I came with my daughter for a quick bite to eat before getting the bus. It's such a lovely cafe. Extremely friendly and staff. The portions are very generous and the food is well cooked and tasty. My daughter really enjoyed her meal. Highly recommended

Heavily pregnant and full of bad mood, I was in need of a full English to make me feel better. So my husband and I came to the Bridge cafe for a breakfast. Wow is all I can say, we both had “The big one” and some black pudding to go with it, as well as a pot of tea for two! Well it’s safe to say an absolutely lovely plate of food, cooked very well, finished off with the 2 cups of tea each we got out of the pot, was very much what I needed to cheer me up! Hash browns are absolutely amazing!!! The prices are so so reasonable, change from a £20 for both our breakfasts, an extra on a breakfast and a pot of tea for two is incredible! Definitely will be going back once I’ve had the baby to refuel ? staff were all brilliant, helpful and very quickly served the food. Well done guys!

What a great find in the centre of Lydney. Lovely little café. Made to feel really welcome by the friendly staff. Six of us had a mixture off the varied menu catering for everyone. Breakfast baps, bacon sandwiches and toasted tea cakes, all very reasonably priced, excellent value and good quality. Tea and coffee were very hot. 10/10 from us all.
