Came across this last year because we needed coffee and breakfast super early morn and we were DELIGHTED to have found this place. The coffee is BANGING. Cakes look delicious. LOVE THE GRANOLA BOWLS.The owner is super friendly, I think Kelly is her name (sorry if that’s wrong!)Have recommended to many colleagues who work here in the summer months and they also love it!!

The best coffee by far in the area, always served with a smile and the best service. When you’re visiting Moreton this is absolutely the place you should stop for your coffee!

Popped in here earlier today for the first time. What a beautiful little spot! Coffee was perfect, and what a delectable selection of cakes and pastries - we had a banana bread and peanut butter cup, what can I say, perfect! Will return soon.

Phenomenal coffee, smoothie & toastie (ham, cheese & chilli jam). Dog friendly too. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back! All served with a big smile :)

Very good coffee shop, friendly service with always a smile , the nicest coffee in 30 miles, fresh healthy breakfasts (overnight oats, fresh granala, croissant, etc) lovely location, plenty of light. Highly recommended,

The sign outside drew me in, it said ‘proper coffee’, I couldn’t resist, and it didn’t disappoint. Warm, friendly welcome, superb coffee, great atmosphere, everything a good coffee shop should be. Highly recommended.

We visited Grouch today for a coffee and a piece of cake. The atmosphere and friendliness of the staff was really good. The cakes were lovely and very fresh. Our only criticism was the size of the coffee, the cups were rather mediocre considering the price. They tasted really good but we would have liked a bit more for our money. We would commend you on the service and quality of the food. What a lovely little cafe. Thanks.

Great place for coffee and cakes. Service and staff were fantastic. They know their coffee and how to serve it. The cake selection is great and all baked on the premises. Only eight tables inside but very cosy

A really friendly place with excellent service. The cakes are all made on site and are delicious. This is a prime example of a customer-centric business that is well-run, with people who are passionate what they do.

Grouch is the place you drive out of your way to visit*, just for the award-winning coffee, or the incredible, freshly-baked brownies**, or the fact that Kelly remembers you from last time. Luckily for me, I don’t have to drive out of my way, so I get to go there at least once a week. If you find yourself in the vicinity, you should do the same - or maybe just take that drive. It’s worth it.*** *The first time I went I literally heard a guy in the queue in front of me tell Kelly he had driven out of his way to get his coffee from there. **There are many other types of delicious snack, also amazing, cheese-forward toasties. *** Boring technical info: there is free parking nearby in the town centre car park or the supermarket a couple of minute’s walk away; there isn’t a loo but there are public toilets in the town centre car park and also in the supermarket you may have already parked in.
