We love the wine bar and always have we just feel in the winter it’s cold and the barrel seating is just not comfortableSome music is needed give it an ambiance and some comfortable seating and we would stay longer. And maybe not a member of staff that is so loud you can’t hear your own conversation when she is talking to other guests.

My husband and I went here for our wedding anniversary early September Wow what a fantastic place. Customer service first class, the owner very informative on all wines. She was absolutely lovely. We had a couple of wines and the cheese and meat platter, it was outstanding. We even went back for an early tipple of wine 2 days later on the Friday and sat outside watching the world go by with a snack of bread with oil dip, it was fabulous. Will definately be back when next in the area. We would definately reccommend 100 per cent to try it out if you are in the area. They have a shop selling all different wines etc. ?

Staggered in here Saturday afternoon after sampling a few other restaurants hotels and pubs in Moreton. We were met by a friendly helpful and attentive young lady who couldn’t do enough for us, offered us a selection of drinks options, we chose a bottle and sat in a cosy enclosed courtyard with a little heater which was fab. It’s bigger than it looks from the outside, very nice find.

My new husband and I got married in Morton in Marsh in July. We had an extended stay and once the wedding was over snd we waved everyone goodbye, we decided to have treat and chose the Moreton Wine Merchants & Bar.It was a quiet night as it was a Monday but this meant we had a nice chance to chat with Melina, the owner and I have to say she is just a wonderful person and made our visit really special. We had wine tasting and cheese/charcuterie boards and had a really enjoyable few hours exploring all the delicious wines.We also were surprised by a hugely generous gesture by one of the locals (I hope you read this and know how special this was to us. Kindness beyond words)We would highly recommend going here and know we will be back when we visit the area.

It is lovely, and the place is super relaxed and friendly. The staff are knowledgeable with a fantastic sense of humour. Love Amanda and John, aka Amanda and "Alan"....if you are in Moreton in the Marsh, it is a definite must ??xx

For fans of wine and "posh nibbles" there really isn't anywhere better to go! Not a full on restaurant but more specialised wines and fantastic cheese and cured meats to accompany options. However for me the shock find was the olive oil for dipping the bread. Absolutely the best I've ever had (and so good I brought a bottle!)

Lovely atmosphere with super service. Great selection of wines at great prices. Happy to let you pick a bottle from the retail shelves at a reasonable £12.50 corkage fee. Unfortunately we didn’t try the food but will do next time. Manager made us feel very welcome and stayed that way even when I knocked an empty glass off the table! Sorry! Keep up the great work ??
