I stayed in Blockley for a week with my whole family over Christmas. The manager is doing an amazing job and made us feel so welcome, we ended up feeling like locals! We had a drink at the pub most days, drinks were very reasonably priced and the service was always great. We ate in the pub on two occasions, both faultless. Quite a small menu which personally I love, yet both times I was left struggling to decide what to order as it all sounded so good! This pub makes me want to visit Blockley again, I will be back!

We stayed in Brockley over the New Year weekend and went to the Great Western Arms on a few occasions for drinks and dinner on New Years eve. The staff were all lovely, great service and the food was excellent. Highly recommend a vist.

Best pub in the area! We stayed in Blockley for a week over Christmas with a group of 12 adults and 4 kids. We visited the pub twice for food, and almost every day for drinks. The manager of the pub is doing an outstanding job at running it. He made us feel like locals even though we were just staying in Blockley for a week. All the food was fabulous, the staff are attentive and it’s just a wonderful pub. I’d thoroughly recommend this pub to anyone, and we’ll definitely be back when we’re next in Blockley!

We had a fantastic experience here during our stay in Blockley. The food and service were both excellent, and Adam went over and above to make sure we had a great evening enjoying our Christmas dinner (the bon bons were a very cute touch). Would definitely recommend to anyone either staying or passing through Blockley!

We’d booked a Christmas Eve lunch for twelve today and it was perfect. The bar service is great, prices were fair and our food was wonderful. They had the normal Sunday lunchtime menu and I thoroughly enjoyed all three courses. I couldn’t fault this pub. The food was definitely one of the best pub meals I’ve ever had. Thank you. We shall be back on Boxing Day.

Friendly and welcoming, good village pub. Good value on the set menus, food is good pub level.But it's a really nice place to go and sit and enjoy after a walk. Great in the winter and summer.Maybe could do with just one alcohol free beer.

We had a amazing meal at the Great Western Arm with wonderful food and service. Adam our server could not have been more professional and welcoming. The entire experience made for one of our best meals while visiting the England for 2 weeks. Highly recommended. Ask for Adam!

Had a lovely lunch time meal today. Simple, great value menu. The food was delicious, with sensible size portions. £10 for 2 courses £14 for 3. They are not huge and your told this, just perfect. Hooky ales on tap with Adam looking after us very well. Very dog friendly which is appreciated. Really worth a try and Blockley, a very pretty place to walk around. Find the streams rushing through and your in for a treat. Many thanks. Andy.

We rented a cottage in Blockley and decided to try this pub and we are so glad we did! We ate there Friday and Saturday and the food was brilliant both times. They let us know they were understaffed but you wouldn't know it. Adam was brilliant and couldn't do enough for us. We actually celebrated our engagement on Saturday and were really made to feel special. Lovely and cosy bar with a separate restaurant area. You can eat in both but dogs only really allowed in the bar which is fine. :) Can't recommend this place enough for either a drink or to eat, we will definitely be back!
