Context: I have family in Moreton so we used this as a base while visiting. I picked The Swan because of its proximity to the family house. We loved our stay and The Swan met and exceeded our expectations. The landlady and her staff (it's a family business) bent over backwards to ensure we were comfortable and our every need met.We were staying on a B&B basis so had breakfast in the morning. We opted for the veggie full English which was absolutely delicious (Other options available). The rooms are comfortable and exactly what we were looking for in a base. Honestly, we could not have asked for more. Our stay was at Christmas and they even left a couple of little snifters and some shortbread for us.It was a perfect stay! Thoroughly recommended!Vegetarian options: We ate veggie full English - delicious!

The roast lamb was the worst meal I have ever eaten out, this makes toby carvery a 5 star restaurant. The broccoli was going off, and was rock hard, frozen roast potatoes and meat was awful and chewy, everyone at the table was disappointed! Didn’t even look appetising. The table was not cleaned before sitting, the table also looked like it had chucked missing and clearly needed new ones. The staff were however pleasant and friendly.

Nice place, I went in the bar for a pint of Guinness which was wonderful. Small bar area with a pool table. Staff were friendly. Good visit.

Popped in for breakfast, on Sunday morning, they allowed my dog in on the bar side. Lovely full English breakfast on Sunday, what could be better.

My wife and I ate there tonight. It's not as swanky as some of the other places in MIM but nor are the prices. We both had a steak (1 sirloin,1 rib-eye) and both were excellent, really tasty and perfectly cooked. Along with a bottle of shiraz it came to a little over £60, great value for money.

After reading the latest reviews on here, we expected the worst but were pleasantly surprised. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in room 2. Our room was pretty clean - did see a bit of dust on the base of one bedside lamp and the toilet seat was a bit stained. The bed was very comfortable with a nice soft mattress and the bed linen was spotlessly clean. Apart from the toilet seat, the bathroom was spotlessly clean. Unfortunately, the room was a bit on the small side but it suited us for just the one night. We had dinner that night and the food was excellent - plentiful and well cooked.

Great Hotel. Host's and staff made us feel very welcome. Beautiful rooms, very clean with comfy beds, tv, coffee and tea facilities in room. Dinner in restaurant excellent my steak was perfectly cooked 4 of us for dinner all choosing something different all the food was excellent wine great and service with a smile. Would definitely stay here again our Host's and staff made our long weekend a lovely memorable experience. The breakfast included with the room was best I've eaten all produce from local farms in area supplied by local butchers.

Received a frosty reception when I arrived. The room was revoltingly dirty - the bathroom looked uncleaned. Damp stains on the walls, stains on the bed valance, dirty marks up the walls, bits of crap all over the carpet, dirty window sill and a great big tear in the pillow case which was threadbare. I was booked here by work - if it had been my own booking, I would have walked out. Someone did come and clean the bathroom and hoover the bathroom, it just made the room stink of bleach and the bathroom floor did not look like it had been cleaned for weeks! Having seen the back of the pub and the kitchens, I chose to not eat my breakfast at the hotel. Sadly I was booked in for 3 nights.
