We live locally and came to the old stocks for dinner and wow were we pleasantly surprised! The place doesn’t look like much from the outside but inside it’s a different world. The decorations and pops of color brighten the place and make it very inviting. Loved the little nooks and small details of character. We enjoyed the extensive cocktail menu in the lounge to start before going into the cosy restaurant for a 3 course. Each dish was flavourful and well presented, our steak was cooked perfectly!! It was meltingAll in all the service was not only efficient but each of the team had a friendly smile and made us laugh. Excellent service from Molly, Liam and Bogdan. Would definitely recommend.

Having booked a couple of nights in a hotel local to the Old Stocks and eating there one night, we decided to explore other options in town.We popped into the Old Stocks and met with Bogdan who talked about the menu and invited us to book for the evening, which we did.Delighted to say we were not disappointed, the food, the ambience and the service were impeccable. The pork cheeks, pan fried Cod, cheese board, were utterly delicious.Cannot recommend the restaurant highly enough, thanks Bogdan for a wonderful evening.Food & drinks: Delicious

Nice (very salty) chicken for Sunday lunch, although we waited an hour for this main course - I was hungry and a bit miserable by then.

I cannot say enough good things about The Old Stocks Inn. We were lucky in that they were able to accommodate a last-minute room reservation due to another hotel in the area (The Porch House) closing due to the Horse Fair in the area. The Inn is just off of the main market square right in the middle of town. Parking is provided and very easy to find (either in the square or just off to the side). We were greeted very warmly and checked in with ease. The room we had was extremely well appointed. The room had exposed beams and a plaster ceiling with a view over the semi-enclosed courtyard. Multiple plugs were available to handle the various pieces of technology that we travel with, and there was ample room to hang clothes and store luggage. The king bed felt wonderful, and the bathroom, including the large claw tub, was huge. The towels provided were very soft, and there was plenty of hot water. We appreciated the small refrigerator in the room as well as the small writing desk. Tea and coffee were provided in the room.Tip-of-the-hat to Bogdan and Richard being extremely accommodating and assisting us during a very trying portion of our vacation. We will be coming back!

Lovely, relaxed but smart restaurant. Pleasant atmosphere on the weekend before Christmas. Food was delicious and well presented. Portion sizes were just right. Service was attentive but not too much. Excellent choice of meals on menu, could have chosen any of them! We would definitely return!

Food & drinks: Dropped in for a couple of drinks. Pleasant atmosphere, nice staff but questionable “classic” cocktail list for happy hour. Cocktails were okay. Worth calling in though

Our stay in early October was perfect in every way. The charming Old Stocks Inn provides a perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds whilst being able to return to beautiful hotel full of character, superb accommodation, fabulous food, and the most wonderful staff. Breakfast is outstanding and a perfect start to the day with Justine and Katie bringing such warm hospitality each morning. Highly recommended this hotel and can’t wait to return.

Came here on vacation and it was the best meal we had in the UK. The staff was so kind to us and our toddler, really made our trip. Definitely give this place a try!

One of the small cities in Cotswold, but I did love here for the calmness of the town compared to some popular cities, like Bibury. Situated in the middle of the town, I could easily get an access to everywhere. The room was fantastic with kids friendly options everywhere. They provide Nintendo for three bunker beds. For breakfast, kid friendly meal was already set up at the corner of the dining room.I brought a car and could park the car easily past 6 pm when i checked in since they have sign parking available 6 pm to 9 am, and 2hrs 9 am to 6 pm.They have welcome drink which include the local draft beer along with cask ale.
