The Old Stocks Inn
The Square, Market Square, Stow-on-the-Wold, CheltenhamWe live locally and came to the old stocks for dinner and wow were we pleasantly surprised! The place doesn’t look like much from the outside but inside it’s a different world. The decorations and pops of color brighten the place and make it very inviting. Loved the little nooks and small details of character. We enjoyed the extensive cocktail menu in the lounge to start before going into the cosy restaurant for a 3 course. Each dish was flavourful and well presented, our steak was cooked perfectly!! It was meltingAll in all the service was not only efficient but each of the team had a friendly smile and made us laugh. Excellent service from Molly, Liam and Bogdan. Would definitely recommend.

Alexiou’s Restaurant
Talbot Sq, Stow-on-the-Wold, CheltenhamGreat find, tucked into an alley, and off the well-beaten path of the typical Cotswolds culinary fare. The food was skillfully prepared, with subtle flavors and understated expert execution; there is care and skill here. This restaurant has been the highlight of our two week trip, and you would not be wasting your time to come here.

Queens Head Inn
Market Square, Stow-on-the-Wold, CheltenhamWent here for a lunch. Inside felt like a nice British pub. Food was lovely, recommend the pie and chips. We also had dessert a honeycomb cheesecake and sticky toffee pudding, both were delicious. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. Only downside was that we were sat next to the back door, which led to the toilets, so you can imagine how many times the door was opened! If you don't sit there though, then you'll be fine!

Prince of India
5 Park St, Stow-on-the-Wold, CheltenhamHad to change dinner plans and ended up in here, asked for a keema madras (not on the menu), no problem. Food was quick and we had 3 curry’s, 2 naans (chili naan is a winner), and 2 rice. All cooked well, pint was good. 30Notes a head(including tip), would recommend if you want a tasty curry after a few beers in the local pubs ?

The Golden Ball Inn
Lower Swell, CheltenhamOnly popped in for a pint. But what a lovely warm welcome from all the staff. Cracking pint of Guinness and a very relaxed beer garden just on the walkway down to Bourton. A credible pit stop. Next time will try the food (we had just eaten)

The Bell (Hotel)
Park St, Stow on the WoldThis is a beautiful pub and inn. We came to stay 10 years after stopping in for a drink and noting how lovely the rooms looked. A decade later we weren't disappointed. Really pleasant stay, very friendly staff and a nice breakfast in the morning. Worth the 10 year wait.Rooms: Lovely decor that retains the character of an old pub. Quite a small shower though. I could barely move in it, but it didn't negatively impact my stay.Nearby activities: The cotswolds are just beautiful. What more to say?!

Lucy's Tearoom
The Square, Market Square, Stow-on-the-Wold, CheltenhamThis was my favorite afternoon tea while traveling in the UK and surpassed the more expensive afternoon teas elsewhere. I loved the simple scone with jam and clotted cream. The jam and cream were significantly superior to others I've had. There was also a wide selection of tea and some really funky and interesting ones as well! If I travel to the Cotswold again, I will surely be visiting Lucy's tearoom. The vibe was also cozy and welcoming. The service was a little slower but probably because we were seated on the second floor.
