Food was excellent, it was early evening midweek so really quiet.I used the toilets which were up steep stairs, not sure if there was a accessible facility downstairs. Have recommended them to friends + family + I will definitely go back again.

This was our first time at Efe's and it certainly won't be the last. Delicious food, great ambience and wonderful service. Very reasonable prices too. Can't wait for our next visit!

Me and my husband called in for a takeaway but decided to eat in instead. We got a lovely welcome and sat near the radiator which was great because it was so cold outside. When the food came out it was chargrilled chicken with rice and salad it was absolutely delicious. The owner came out to speak to us he was lovely and we were having a lovely chat unfortunately it was quite which was a shame for such a great restaurant. My advice is if you're in the area don't get a takeaway sit inside and enjoy the wonderful staff amazing atmosphere and out of this world food authentic Turkish food. The only downside was I didn't get anyone's name. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Visited this restaurant with friends this week whilst on holiday in Stroud. We all had absolutely beautiful meals ranging from Moussaka Veg and Meat, Lamb Stew and Spicy Sausage with a Greek Salad. A bottle of Red Turkish Wine and Baclava all round completed this delicious dinner.Oh almost forgot a lovely tot of Disorano each. The staff were absolutely lovely, efficient friendly and chatty. I recommend Efes without reservation. Thankyou

Went to efes grill for the first time last night with my husband. The food was absolutely amazing, the salads were so fresh, the hummous was incredible and the falafels were insanely good. As someone who has eaten a lot of falafel and hummous in their life, I feel like I’m well versed in knowing a good one! The service was also incredible and the owners are so friendly, welcoming and chatty. We tried a Turkish red wine for the first time and it was such a lovely surprise and upon finishing our meal, we were given some delicious pistachio Turkish delights too. 100% will be visiting again and I’m definitely going to take my family when they come to visit next! Thank you for such an amazing meal!

We had cold meze starter plus mains. Efes is a fantastic traditional Turkish experience in Stroud. For me, it was best chicken Iskinder I have ever eaten. We chatted with the personable business owner and chef, and together with a knowledgeable waitress, the working duo made our night very special. We will definitely return to this gem.

We are staying locally at an airbnb and found this restaurant whilst looking online for recommendations. We are originally from North London, so Turkish restaurants are a common eatery for us. We were surprised to see how empty it was as the food and service were amazing. Fresh, homemade cacik, baklava, and dolma, to name a few. We were thoroughly impressed. If you are visiting or live local, please visit and keep this restaurant open! Oh, and the Turkish delight is the best we've ever had. Absolutely beautiful food.
