Popped in on a Tuesday night on the way home after we had been shopping, it was a horrible wet night out side but it was warm and welcoming inside Sorrento Restaurant. \nIt was fairly busy with a big table for birthday but the staff were on top of things - friendly and attentive despite being busy. \nWe both had steaks which were out of this world and shared a garlic bread with cheese (do not miss out on this or their pizzas they are lovely) we didn't have to wait long for our food which was even better (as we were starving by the time we got there!)\n\nWe had also recently been on a sunday evening 14 of us for a birthday and even then the food was incredible. We all had deserts that evening as well.\n\nWhether you are popping in as a couple or with all the family the welcome in Sorrento and the food is well worth a visit!!! \n\nWe will be back!

An amazing café. Super accommodating for a large group with youngsters. Really busy, looks small but don't be fooled... plenty of extra room upstairs including small play area. Staff were efficient, friendly, polite and knowledgeable. Food was exceptional and prompt! Superb range to choose from too. Everyone loved it. Will return and recommend without doubt. It's worth visiting Stroud just for this little gem! GO THERE, if not just for the Chai Latte!! ?

This place is absolutely brilliant. The last few times we have been there they have cooked us specials that are not on the menu. The Ceylon last night was epic, so much so he was cooking one for the team to try as it was a rarer dish and I hope you enjoyed as much as I did. The food is always cooked perfectly. The staff are friendly and great to have a laugh with as they are so friendly. The restaurant is always presented very well, clean, tidy, table spacing is great so you’re not rammed in and it’s usually busy which is a great sign also. If you haven’t been in to dine, it’s a must.

Perfectly cooked, very tasty, huge portions. Seriously, only get a large kebab if you can eat a lot. The kofte is nice and juicy, not dry at all. The chicken shish is also moist and portions are so generous. We unfortunately couldn't finish ours so next time I'm just going for a medium.

I had the pleasure of visiting this lovely little Italian food stall, and it was such a charming experience. The pasta is absolutely delicious, clearly made with love by the sweetest little lady. You can tell she takes pride in her cooking, as every bite is packed with authentic flavor. While the food does take a bit of time to prepare, it’s well worth the wait for such a homemade, heartwarming meal. A true gem in the community!

This really is a beautiful space and has so much history and great energy. We stayed here for our 10 year anniversary and we were treated so well by Sophie who checked us in and Sharon at the bar who made our time there extra special. It is an absolutely stunning hotel backing onto the canal and alongside a cute little church. It made for the perfect stay away. I didn’t eat here other than the charcuterie board which was a little overpriced for what was received and breakfast was good for the price point.

I’ve been coming here from London for several years now. We’ve always had their wonderful roasts. The gravy is second to none. Traditional service trolley with beef cooked perfectly medium rare. Today I had the game pie. Blown away. I’ve never had a pie this good. I asked my husband if he could name a better pie and he couldn’t.
Wonderful country pub, very welcoming, lovely log fires. Highly recommend a visit here. Book in advance.

We were lucky enough to find this lovely pub on Saturday after a great dog walk. The food was fantastic so we returned on Sunday to do a circular walk with our dog. We had probably the best Sunday lunch we have ever had out. Jane and her team were very welcoming especially to our dog. Couldn't recommend this pub enough.

Well, this place is incredible, after many thousands of steps we stopped here, we drank plenty of water and had the most delicious fish and chips. Service was very quick considering the place was very busy. The staff were delightful, toilets clean, lots of parking. Highly recommend visiting here, I will be back!

We just had Sunday Roast here and it was probably the best Sunday roast i have had whilst eating out. We both had Lamb and everything was piping hot and cooked the way Sunday roasts should be cooked. Portion size was just right and im i big eater. This placed is now marked as our favourite place for a roast for sure. Think we will have to pop back in the week for a mid week meal next. We made a last minute booking on a Tuesday evening having spent the day at the Cheltenham Festival. The staff and Chef were very accommodating as the kitchen was due to shut at 8pm and we only made a call to enquire at 7.30pm. The 3 course menu deal was very good value and the food excellent. The staff were very friendly and chatty and we were very grateful they could fed us on a Tuesday evening when other pubs in the area were shut or kitchens were closed. Thank you.

I first came to this lovely little cafe a couple of months ago, when I last visited Stroud. I was impressed with the taste and no fuss, but careful, presentation of my Prawn Marie Rose sandwich. I had the same today but on a ciabatta. Lovely! Decaf tea was hot and tasty and went well with the decadent chocolate vake I had for afters! Staff are pleasant and obliging. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Stroud to give this lovely little cafe a try!

First ever visit to Nailsworth today and me and my partner stopped here for lunch. The food was nice and cooked well (i had a small full english breakfast) and the cup of tea was good too. The staff were struggling due to them being short staffed and we did have a few delays in food (and cutlery!) being served but I'm sat here halfway through eating my 'free' mars brownie, so all is forgiven. I'd definitely reccomend this place and would come here again for another breakfast.

I don’t, as a rule, leave reviews, but this food demands that I do. Man alive, it was delicious. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely a must. I’ve travelled a lot through Italy and love Italian food and have been really impressed by this restaurant. I wish I lived closer.

10/10 coffee! Tilly and her dad were chatty, super friendly and attentive. He put the heating on for me in the little shack. Really enjoyed my coffee stop there and will be back again on my travels.
