“I’ve just eaten at The Big Fish Takeaway in Stroud, and the food was absolutely gorgeous. I’ve dined here a few times over the past couple of years, and I haven’t had better fish and chips anywhere in the UK. I highly recommend their fish and chips, and the team in the shop, led by Josephine, are absolutely outstanding. The way they communicate with you, talk to you, and their overall friendly demeanour is remarkable. I can’t speak highly enough of them. Fantastic service! The fish tastes as though it’s just come from the seaside, and even the chip oil is just right.”

“Probably the best fish and chip shop in the area. I ordered last night Sat 1st Nov, a Haddock and a Plaice, large chips, curry sauce and a mushy peas, yes it was expensive at just over £25, but it was absolutely delicious, the fish were cooked perfectly and not over cooked and dry. My Plaice was delicious with not too much heavy batter, which I like. Just perfect. I love their curry sauce as well because it is different to other shops. If you want perfect fish and chips go to The Chip Shed in Minchinhampton. Their chips are the best! ???”

“I just want to say I don’t know what you did tonight but the chips you gave me tonight were the best I’ve ever tasted whatever it was please do it again, I mean it the chips were literally the best you could hope for Michelin star stuff, please figure out what you did and do it again, the burger was ok I’m happy with it but would get a 3 star”

“It's my favourite of the Chinese restaurants around Stroud. Some of the dishes are not exactly what you'd expect from a western Chinese restaurant but they are all the better for it as far as I'm concerned. Less standard but more tasty.”

“Ordered a pizza from here as it was the only place open so late and I was suprised they delivered to me. Pizza was the best I've had in the local area (for a non-authentic woodfire cooked pizza) and very fast delivery. I look forward to trying other things off the menu. Excellent.”

“Decent chicken shop. Bit spenny but meal deal comes with a bevvyboo and a fair amount of chips. Bossman was fast and friendly and chicken was relatively fresh which is what you always want for some yummy grub. Chicken was good but i was lowkey scared the next bite would give me salmonella, it was all cooked good enough though. safe x”
