I can't fault this bistro, good quality food that didn't take a lot of time to arrive at the table. Not bad prices for what you're getting, I'd definitely come here for a lunch or a bite to eat in future, nice outdoor seating area too!

Absolutely fantastic. Service was swift, food and coffee fantastic. Will be back. Highly

The worstbreakfast I've ever had the food was sickening the most tasteless thing I've ever eaten more taste in a mouthful of air. The egg wasn't far of being cremated RIP any of the eggs cooked here. The staff are far from cheerful maybe sad after having to deal with all those eggs needlessly dieing. The only positive I could give was the toast was nice but then again you'd had a hard job to mess that up.

The service was great. The location is also great as it's central Stroud. We went to the Saturday market so it was convenient.Loved the coffee. My partner had an all-day breakfast, which he liked. The disappointment came with my meal. I ordered the eggs Benedict. I always order the eggs Benedict on a menu because I LOVE a good eggs Benny! Unfortunately, I have to say it was the worst I've had. The eggs were hard boiled, the ham was very dry, and the hollandaise sauce was starting to crust. I can only assume it sat under a warmer for more than 30 min before I even ordered it. I would have rather waited a few more min for a fresh one.

Went in for lunch on a Tuesday lunchtime the place was quiet but there were a few groups of customers in that looked as if they had eaten lunch. We went in and as there was no one behind the counter we sat at an empty table, read the menu and decided what we wanted for lunch then waited and waited and waited. There was no one behind the counter when we came in and 15 minutes later still no one had appeared. There was a bell on the counter which I rang to attract attention as there sounded like there was someone upstairs in the kitchen but no one responded or came down. After at least 15 to 20 minutes with no staff appearing and no opportunity to place and order we gave up and left. Very strange and very poor service

Just ok. Staff seemed like they all had a row with each other and didn’t want to be there!Food was ok cooked and presented well but they serve Cheap sausages which is always a put off.

My car was in for an MOT in Stroud - needed breakfast. Full English with tea and toast £9. Breakfast was excellent!

Terribly slow. Arrived 1, eating 1:55, and there were several empty tables. Simple, inexpensive.

The most miserable staff I’ve had the displeasure to meet. A simple smile with a ‘hello’ and ‘goodbye’ would be a start. The scones were delicious but I can’t say the same for the coffee. I was glad to get out and I definitely won’t be returning.

Best and most inexpensive coffee (and scones!) in town, and really nice folks in a family business. Nice to sit outside, with the added bonus that I can see my bus coming! :-)

Good food and service. Will tweak the menu to suit special requirements. Can sit outside when warm enough.
