A very disappointing visit. The pulled-pork ciabatta was served in a burger bun. It was presented in such a way that it could not be eaten elegantly or without becoming covered in food. Opening the box revealed a fatty, gloopy concoction which would not look good had we photographed it. The scotch egg and cheesy fries were luke warm, and not very appetising. The strawberry milkshake was a grey, mean cup of nothingness. Not fit to be described as a milk shake. Normally a joyous experience. We have no issue paying our hard-earned cash for good, nourishing and attractively served food. But today we felt totally ripped off. Over the years we have been loyal and quite regular customers of Jolly Nice. Sadly that loyalty has gone unrecognised today

I'm a regular here, primarily The Hive twice a week. I take my dog there after our walk. The Hive food is excellent and service is always great. Staff are really friendly and being a regular we have a good chat. There have been odd cockups but are soon rectified. The excellent improvements to The Hive covered area have made the whole experience significantly better. A fire keeps us warm, the seating is much better and it really feels more intimate despite it being a fair size space. Thank you for making the improvements and great to see a local family business being innovative and successful. Highly recommended. Mark and Dude the labrador ??

First time visiting today and what a wonderful farm shop. Walked past a couple of miniature donkeys on the way in and they were gorgeous. Inside, the shop is well laid out. Lovely looking veg, fish counter and butchers. All sorts of produce there. We bought a venison pie which was gorgeous and a couple of other things which no doubt we will enjoy at a later date. If I'm in the area again will definitely have to visit.

Always great produce and such a lovely place to wander around. Cafe and drive through are excellent. Just a really great business championing local and small producers.

One of the best farm shops I've been to - a perfect mix of everything you can imagine. Food, coffee, and an enormous range of local produce as well as from further afield. And the ice cream - that's a whole different level of temptation. Flavours you'll never see anywhere else - good luck if you manage to walk away without picking up at least two tubs - I bring a cooler bag with me specifically for the ice cream options.Perfect place to do up a hamper for yourself or as a gift.

We booked to go to the ice rink, easy to book online. Turned up for our slot, saw the miniature donkeys, so cute. We really enjoyed our experience, the guys were super friendly, got us the right size skates, we haven’t skated for years but had so much fun. Everyone had fun and chatted. Super friendly, helpful staff. Loved the fire pit and the chilled atmosphere.

Lost the order, apologised, gave refund and free lunch. Bosh. Nice setting, good water, good napkins? Few many hipsters

Youngest daughter and my wife went to get a tree and got ignored by the staff.Really bad customer service. Brought a small tree, 3 foot at best: £66. Total joke.

Went ice skating this morning with my daughter. Whole team really nice but especially Robert who is like a professional coach at the Beginners' session! New large eating area really great too with a log fire and windows over looking the skating rink. Very Christmasy atmosphere and a lovely experience. Thank you!

We had a lovely time today ice skating, having a drink and a mooch around the shop. Wonderful festive atmosphere, I felt a lot of thought and care had gone into making the place feel and look very Christmassy and all staff were so friendly. Would come back next Christmas.

Drove 2 hours here for a Christmas tree, only for it to be closed. I had called prior to coming checking that it woukd be open and they were not. They refused to sell me a tree from the farm shop and cafe

Went Ice-Skating and had a Great Time, followed by a lovely hot Chocolate by an open fire. Then we saw the Donkeys!

We used the yurt for a celebration with 80 guests. The events manager was so obliging and helpful. Together we chose a selection of hot and cold food from the JN menu, and a range of drinks including jugs of elderflower cordial and local wine and beer. Nothing was too much trouble and we even decorated the inside with photos and flowers from the shop. Serving staff ensured the event ran smoothly. So many guests praised the yurt's atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff and the yummy fare. Thank you JN.

Let down by the fact everything seemed to be damp or dripped on. Don’t think the tents for the outdoor market area were rain proof. Labels peeling off of things such as on the wine bottles. Car park a mud bath with lots of pot holes. Fresh produce looked quite nice but perhaps a little on the expensive side - I think we paid £3 for a tomato. Maybe it would be more pleasant in the summer.

We spent the morning at Jolly Nice Farm shop, having booked a session on their ice rink. From the minute we arrived we felt so welcome by all the staff and they couldn’t be more accommodating if you bring a dog with you. The cafe and shop were amazing, and they had big fire pits set up around the farm with benches nearby to keep warm. It really does have the magical feeling of Christmas and we loved every minute we spent there.
