We stayed at the rooms and enjoyed the 8 course tasting menu. The food was prepared with great skill and attention to detail. Everything was very tasty and the wine matches were interesting. The staff and chef were very knowledgeable and passionate about the food and service. No liquid nitrogen or gimmicks just well cooked and presented food.

Have visited here numerous times and the accommodation is great.

This is one of the nicest places I have stayed in a long time. We stayed in the Loft room and I will think jealously of the bathroom for a while yet! The bed was comfy, it was really warm and cosy with thoughtful touches and the location was great - in the town centre but still quiet at night. It felt like great value for money and I would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Lovely room. Beware lots of steps to rooms, but well worth it. Best coffee!

Very comfortable clean room, central location in town. Easy parking nearby. A perfect choice for our first visit to Nailsworth. We also treated ourselves to a wonderful foodie experience at Wilder which was the highlight of our visit. The perfect combination for our Autumn break.

Stayed at the ‘4 star’ hotel as a couple in October 2021 for four nights.Paper thin walls (which have been mentioned in other reviews across different sites), so we could hear our neighbours snoring, telephone calls and TV on at 6.45am.No personal welcome from staff, but housekeeping knocking on our door asking when we would be leaving so they can clean our room - very odd and a bit unwelcoming.Cold breakfast left in the room was underwhelming (a pastry from the day before, cereal, yoghurt) would prefer a cooked breakfast.Shower was luke warm, there were biting flies in the room. The room itself was very clean, but I would recommend the host to think about how they can make their guests feel more welcome rather than a cold pastry in the room and climbing up a fire escape and unfriendly housekeeping.I understand we are still in a pandemic but there is a lot more they could have done, considering it is a 4 star hotel and the price we paid was not cheap at all.

Situated in the lovely Cotswolds village of Nailsworth , this amazing little hotel was a lovely find. No car park at this hotel but a few places on the road to the front and also plenty of parking across the road at a public car park which is found behind the pub. You can park here free of charge for 23 hours . To enter the hotel you go to the back of the hotel where you will find some stairs , as this is a self check hotel you will be given a code for the main back door then also your room . As you can see from the pictures the room had everything we needed for our break and also amazing views . A small breakfast hamper was delivered every morning , we had an amazing stay and will definitely be back again .

We stayed at the Wild Garlic Rooms to break up a long journey from Manchester to Cornwall. Check in was extremely easy with just a code required (sent by email) to enter the apartment. Parking wasn`t a problem with a large free car park situated behind the Britannia pub opposite. The apartment was extremely clean and had everything we required for a comfortable stay including a bed guard for our toddler to use. We didn`t arrive until just after 6pm when we headed over to the Britannia pub opposite and enjoyed a pleasant evening meal. We had a quick walk around Nailsworth and made use of the local Coop to buy some drinks and snacks. The only negative part of our stay was at 01.30am the couple in the apartment next door had an almighty argument, shouting swearing things (furniture) begin thrown between 01.30am and 03.30am when eventually the door slammed and one of them left. We were up early the following ay and left tired but of course not the apartment owners fault.

Sadly we had to cancel this overnight stay would have loved to have stayed in the ground floor apartment but there was no onsite car parking very unfortunate. this would suit people who don't need on site parking looked very good place

The service was excellent. There were even tables outside perfect for games in the evening. Superb family holiday!

Although we were only staying one night, we could easily and happily have stayed for longer in Wild Garlic. Rooms were spacious, comfortable, and perfect bath and separate shower. Somewhat de-personalised experience, but we would go back.

Lovely loft suite with nice small touches.Originally a little apprehensive about the stay as everywhere in Nailsworth was booked up due to the Cheltenham Festival and hearing about the lack of human contact / door entry codes. However, we need not have worried, we received the codes 24 hours before our stay and they where sent again by text as we where enroute.Upon arrival the stairway up to the rooms does seem a tad steep but we had no issues reaching the top level where our rooms were.Key code entry was a bit tempremental but more down to the user (me), not pressing the buttons in far enough, once in the room, I was pleasantly surprised, very homely, comfy bed, extra blankets for the colder days and a fan for the hotter days, our continenal breakfast for the morning after was already waiting for us, along with milk & juice in the fridge. For us the comfortable bed and the big bathroom was our highlight in the loft suite, rain shower and huge king size bed, not to mention the bathroom mirror that could be turned on/off by waving your hand underneath :-)I think some of the previous comments on other forums about the room being dated and external noise are fair, for example a couple of the drawer handles on the bed side cabinets where very loose and one came away when I was checking we'd packed everything away and the external noise for us was minimal but could be heard, our room mates in the family room could be heard when generally chatting and their pull switch for the bathroom light could be heard most of the evening - note these are not major issues and we would have no hesitation in going back there again, if not just for the bed, rain shower and lush lemon muffins at breakfast! All in all 8/10.

We stayed one night thank goodness room was nice overlooking the square. It was very expensive for what it was. Parking a problem. Breakfast poor. Not a facility I would use again. We had been recommended to eat in the Britannia pub opposite which did not provide a good meal. A night to forget
