“OMG - took my wife here for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and the food and service was amazing. If you want to be sure of a great pub lunch or dinner in the Cirencester / Tetbury area, which can be a bit hit and miss these days, then look no further than the Troublehouse, it’s the best I have been to in many years. I had Scallops as a starter and fillet steak as a main, both cooked to perfection. The fact that the pub restaurant was busy on a Tuesday lunch says it all. “We stayed at the Priory Inn for a weekend break, using it as a base to visit places of interest in south Gloucestershire. We were broadly happy with our experience. The decoration of the rooms looked a little tired, but that's really our only criticism. The beds were comfy, the breakfasts were excellent, and the bathroom actually had a bath (wonderful!). On our first evening we used the hotel dining room for dinner, and that too was excellent (I recommend the pork). Above all, I'd like to congratulate the lady front-of-house manager who was always friendly, helpful and on top of things. She gave the impression of someone who loved her job.”

“Great place , we held a baby shower , had room off dining area , good size, there were 12 of us.Staff very friendly and welcoming, especially Charlie who was very helpful when we setting the room up. ( and for taking the group photo )We had the buffet , honey & mustard cocktail sausages & quiches were delicious, great cheese boards , 3 different salads , sandwiches and dips. Well presented and plenty of it.Definitely recommend , great afternoon at a lovely place.”

“I booked a room for my partner's birthday as we were doing quite a lot of activities around that area. I was looking for a pub that serves dinner and drinks in the same building as the room, and cat & custard was just perfect!Room was little but had everything that we needed and was more than enough. Comfy bed and tasty coffee. Super clean and cozy.The food was amazing. I was very surprised by brulé. Never have I ever had such a tasty brulé (I don't like brulé). Breakfast was great too.The only thing was that the ladies didn't have enough knowledge about the menu and we waited to pay our bill for hours until we asked to pay. We were staying here, so it was okay but since we got the bill, none of the waitresses made an eye contact with us or asked would we like something else.The man that worked there was so friendly and chatted with us, giving us some info about the town and surroundings.Overall, if we are heading that way, we would definitely stay there again and highly recommend to others.Thank you !”
