1 The St, Leighterton, TetburyFound this pub on our walk through the local footpaths. Greeted by lovely staff who were all very friendly.
The pub has a nice garden and is very clean and well maintained though out.
The menu was interesting and varied- had lots of dishes for vegetarians and meat lovers alike! I would definitely recommend coming in for a visit.
The meals are fairly pricey but the quality of the food warrants it, and the service is excellent.
Will definitely be coming back for a Sunday roast

The Priory Inn
London Rd, TetburyWe stayed at the Priory Inn for a weekend break, using it as a base to visit places of interest in south Gloucestershire. We were broadly happy with our experience. The decoration of the rooms looked a little tired, but that's really our only criticism. The beds were comfy, the breakfasts were excellent, and the bathroom actually had a bath (wonderful!). On our first evening we used the hotel dining room for dinner, and that too was excellent (I recommend the pork). Above all, I'd like to congratulate the lady front-of-house manager who was always friendly, helpful and on top of things. She gave the impression of someone who loved her job.

Tetbury Fish & Chips
6 Chipping St, TetburyBrilliant fish and chips and lovely friendly service as well which is always a bonus. Fish was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of batter, chips were spot on and curry sauce a great accompaniment. There’s even a couple of places to sit inside and if you choose this option you get a plate and proper cutlery. Plenty of chippys in the UK are a disappointment but not this one. Will definitely be back when we’re passing through Tetbury.

Hobbs House Bakery
18-20 Church St, TetburyStopped in twice today. Once for a bacon roll and a coffee and again later for some pastries. It was fantastic both times. Worth the 4000 or so miles we traveled to be here ?

Casa Restaurant Tetbury
49 Long St, TetburyWe walked in as a table of six without a booking and they were so lovely and was able to seat us. We got served quickly, our food arrived hot and quick! And we were checked on often and kept topped up with drinks. The food itself was spectacular, the best Italian we as a collective had had. 100% recommend it’s such a chill and cozy place, can’t wait to come back!

The atmosphere was warm and buzzing without ever feeling crowded, the wine list was spot-on, and the food was exceptional, every dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. A huge shout out to Alex, the manager, who handled everything from the initial booking to the final glass being poured. His attention to detail, friendly professionalism, and genuine care made the evening feel effortless and extra special. Nothing was too much trouble, and he ensured our table felt like the best in the house. After dinner, we carried the celebration on at Koko, which was the perfect after-party vibe great music, fun energy, and a lively but welcoming atmosphere. If you’re looking for a place in Tetbury for a special occasion, Lola’s (followed by Koko!) is an unbeatable combination, especially with someone like Alex at the helm.

Market Pl, TetburyWe stayed here for one night before going onto another hotel for my birthday weekend, and wish we had stayed here for my birthday instead, what a beautiful hotel in a beautiful place, the staff as soon as we arrived were so friendly and helpful, we had a lovely evening meal, where again the staff were all lovely and friendly, our breakfast was just as nice, the rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable, we had an enjoyable sleep. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who was looking to stay here.

Long St, TetburyWe were in today for the Sunday roast. Both ordered lamb (at the waiter’s recommendation) and it was absolutely fabulous. Completely melt in mouth and a very generous portion. We did order extra gravy but were pleased to see they did not charge extra. Would 100% recommend and we will be back.

15 Church St, TetburyThe food in here was really damn good. The crispy duck, beef in black bean, singapore noodles, the best Ive had from a takeaway.
My advice is, spend £500 on doing up the waiting area, you are in one of the most affluent areas in the UK, your food for a takeaway is on the button. Your waiting area lets you down.

Items always arrive in good condition and is also well packed, Delivery is also a reasonable price, would definitely recommend Halls the Bakers, they have a wide range of goodies to choose from at great prices.

However, the service let the experience down somewhat, with lengthy gaps between courses and a long wait both for our initial drinks order to be taken and for them to arrive.

The Royal Oak Tetbury
Cirencester Rd, TetburyWe stopped in for lunch which was absolutely delicious. While we were there we panicked as we realized we had a logistical problem with a local garden tour scheduled for later that day. Alex at the Royal Oak reception noticed our consternation and offered to help. She stepped in and contacted the tour company and completely sorted the problem before we even finished lunch! And we weren’t even staying at the Royal Oak. What a Good Samaritan and a lovely person, typical of the Royal Oak staff. We will be back!?

7-9 Church St, TetburyWhat a wonderful quirky, Boho style bistro. Very much a classy place to eat, particularly for ladies who lunch! The vibe is so calming and delightful. One could feel they were on an exotic holiday abroad, sipping wine on the veranda without a care in the world. Large lunch portions, delightful staff! Best wishes for the new owner on such an exciting venture!
