Fantastic stay really enjoyed it. Very pleasant people willing to go the extra mile. Stayed over for work and will be looking to stay again!

Small restaurant which serves great food. Great for groups.Food is freshly cooked and although a set menu there is plenty of choice.Chef is happy to tweak the food on offer if he can.

Fantastic dinner experience. Lovely quiet dining room (no music😊), log fire. Generous amuse bouche, choice of half a dozen starters, main courses and puddings, coffee/tea and petit four all for £32.50 - amazing value and super quality. Very good wines and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

WHAT A GEM OF A PLACE! AMAZING!! We stayed there for one night for a friends wedding. Phil and Angela were amazing. Willing to help us and engage in conversation. The bed was super comfy and the food was DELICIOUS! Such variaty and freshness. Wish we could have stayed longer.

So discreet that you would hardly know that it was a restaurant. But it is - and it serves the most amazing 3-course Sunday lunch at tremendous value. Angela is a fantastic host and her husband is a masterful chef. Very highly recommended.

Really enjoyed my stay. Phil was very accommodating allowing me to keep a bike in the room. Had the place to myself which was nice but you'll have to be aware of banging the doors, which is very easy to do, if there are other guests staying. Simple honest accommodation, king size bed, wardrobe with bathrobes for one of two bathrooms adjacent to each other down the hall. Breakfast accompanied by tasty coffee good enough to have black and pleasant conversation with Phil. There is only a bath, no shower, would be my only critique. If there was a mixer tap and shower head attached, even without the wall fittings, would be a nicety but doesn't detract from the otherwise very warm and welcome stay I enjoyed. Dog friendly, likely a plus for someone.

Dinner at this restaurant was exquisite. Amazing food, lovely personal service, in a very serene environment. The owners do not aim to run a bustling restaurant, hence it's more like private dining!

Best restaurant for miles around. Top notch cuisine and the quality never varies. Excellent value for money. Quiet, homely ambiance. Excellent B & B.

The room was very noisy. The bathroom was very dated not even a shower head on the taps .Would not stay again. Breakfast was very tasty
