Myself and my Mum stayed at Trouble House for a family wedding earlier this month. The owners were so accommodating, even giving us a lift to the wedding venue! The room was excellent with comfortable beds and a really great shower. We had breakfast in the morning which was delicious and HUGE - probably the best breakfast I've had at a B&B. Would highly recommend. Thank you!

Went to Fish Fizz Friday. Have been a couple of times - the seafood is amazing - lovely flavours and wonderful friendly service. Good value and will be back

Trouble House, cafe and restaurant. It looks n feels like a pub more than a restaurant. It is out of nowhere so a little bit difficult to find. My husband both had roast beef with all the trimmings, we were not disappointed. Beef slices were thin but we did get a good few slices. All in all a good filling meal.

Had a lovely lunch today with my daughter, terrific service from Marianne, was very welcoming and went the extra mile. The owner came and chatted with us (sorry don’t know her name) which was lovely. The food was amazing, I had the belly pork followed by the panacotta with boozy cherries, my daughter had fish pie followed by the sticky toffee pudding. Faultless.

A charming country Inn with excellent food at fair prices. Superb service by Jackie and her team. We had a long business meeting startwith coffee and excellent home meeting cakes at 10 am. Followed by lunch. A wide range of food on the menu. All enjoyed both starters and mains. No room for the tempting deserts! A truly enjoyable experience.

Hands down the best Sunday lunch we have had in the area.. simply delicious! Lovely friendly welcome, good service and amazing Saltmarsh Lamb followed by Bread and Butter pud with marmalade and custard… exceptionally good value and we are headed back in a fortnight for more… we’ve tried every pub and hotel in the area and this unassuming place is the best by sone margin?

We received a very warm welcome. Delicious food, especially the chicken dish and great ambience. Will definitely be back.

OMG - took my wife here for our 25th Wedding Anniversary and the food and service was amazing. If you want to be sure of a great pub lunch or dinner in the Cirencester / Tetbury area, which can be a bit hit and miss these days, then look no further than the Troublehouse, it’s the best I have been to in many years. I had Scallops as a starter and fillet steak as a main, both cooked to perfection. The fact that the pub restaurant was busy on a Tuesday lunch says it all. Thank you Troublehouse for a great Wedding Anniversary lunch and the special treat at the end. David and Raphaelle Watts

We stopped for morning coffee here, and what a good choice we made, only because we were stuck behind a slow tractor. Lovely welcome, excellent coffee and tea, delicious toasted tea cake with strawberry jam. Clean and characterful, very good customer care, and not expensive. Menu for meals looks good too.

A fantastic find !! My partner & I came to the Cotswolds for a relaxing weekend away (from fairly full-on jobs) & booked to stay for dinner, bed & breakfast. From the moment we arrived Jacki couldn't have been more friendly & smiley. She immediately showed us to The Courtyard (where we were staying). It is very well decorated & clean with a large bed that was really comfortable. We'd pre-reserved a table for dinner & ate 2 main meals & 2 desserts off the specials board; both of which were excellent. The following day we had a leisurely start & a delicious breakfast. So, Trouble House proved to be an excellent find & place to stay with delicious food, aswell as being looked after by a very personable host. Thanks Jacki - we will return, Helen & Mike (from Bristol

I admit that I am particular about having my food served hot. For this reason, I always make a point of telling whoever takes our order to pass this message on to the chef. My Sunday lunch was served warm at best. Certainly not hot. I sent it back only to have my meal re-presented still only just warm. The fact that the plates were served with no cloth to hold them said it all. A hot plate means hot food!! It's should not be rocket science after all.

Stopped for lunch on our way back from the National Arboretum. Fabulous, friendly service and delicious food. Our dog was made to feel very welcome and given a biscuit for being so well behaved. Dogs are allowed both inside and outside. Food was nicely presented and delicious finished off with a lovely coffee. Throughly recommend.
