Very clean and well laid out tea rooms. Very friendly staff and good choice of items on menu. Only came for a quick snack. Pleased to see it is dog friendly and well worth a visit. We will certainly be back again (doggies with us the next time).

We came here not long after it opened so thought we’d visit again. Rated it 3 as we were there for Breakfast, (stop serving at 12.00!). I was at the counter at 12.01 after waiting for the person in front of me to be served. Asked for Scrambled Egg on toast and Small Breakfast, told we’ve stopped serving breakfast but can do the Scrambled Egg on Toast (which was a breakfast item)! Do you do hot sandwiches, he pointed to the menu and said those are the sandwiches, ok I’ll just have toast then! Bare in mind majority of sandwiches were cheaper than the breakfast. Drinks ordered. When brought to table, not asked if wanted accompaniments, so went up to ask for the marmalade it came with. Not the best venue for Customer Service!

Popped in during a walk, dog friendly tearoom in a quaint English style. China cups and tea strainers, lovely tea, We both had a breakfast which was excellent! They were very flexible with swaps etc. young staff brought the dog water (without needing to ask) . Altogether an excellent experience from start to finish! Highly recommended!

As always, a lovely warm welcome into the tea ☕️ room in broad street. Loose leaf ? tea with plenty of strength. My mum loves the milkshakes.

Excellent service and delicious food. Very clean, slightly retro theme, playing 50's/60's music in the background (Not obtrusive, just right). This is my 4th visit in the last 3 months.

Oh dear. So looking forward to visiting here. It was closed the last time we were passing. Ambience nice, surroundings lovely. Just how a tea room should be. Unfortunately I most definitely not recommend the hot chocolate. I think £2.65 for a cup of chocolate flavoured hot water was not what I expected. Apparently the machine was playing up but they did offer to make another. No thank you. If you knew the machine was not working properly - don't use it. Just make it the old fashioned way. Sorry we shan't be coming back.

Called in here having parked just outside before our 4 hour drive home. What a find ! I tend to only visit places where I have reviewed both the website and menu, so this one had passed under the radar . A great value Full English with a fine Latte well worth a visit. The guy taking the orders was really friendly and was busy training a new member of staff so hope the service continues.

Lovely location, after visiting the Abbey. Service rather slow ? but that said the food was delicious and excellently presented

Called into Sugar Plum Tea Rooms on Friday 12/05/23 for the first time. The service was excellent & friendly staff, the interior was most welcoming & cosy and spotless throughout. Menu prices very reasonable & food & drinks delicious. Pics attached.

First cafe in a long time where there's been loose leaf tea in the pot. Tempting cakes as well. In the centre of Pershore, park outside if you're lucky!

After having a hotel pre-booked for several weeks & been disappointed by it we searched for somewhere else very last minute. Came across The Abbey Hotel & they got us in. Wow. Charming little hotel & amazing, welcoming hosts. Room had plenty of space, warm & cosy. Very clean & well catered for. Own bathroom, again clean & spacious. Breakfast was second to none from the service to the food. Thank you so much Lorna & Brian & their staff, we will definitely be back!

Lovely small hotel in the centre of Tewkesbury. Very welcoming and friendly but not overbearing. The room was clean with a comfy bed. Fresh, well cooked breakfast with a choice of English, cereal and fruit. I will definitely be going back.

Arrived just past 9, so food had to be cooked fresh so quite slow service and tea had gone cold by the time food had come out (tea cosies for pots maybe!) Saying that, food was lovely and so was the cafe. Not much of an atmosphere, bit of music in the back ground which was quite drowned out by a boiling kettle of an extraction fan. Quite modern for an old style tea room. Teething points in our opinion, but once settled will be a super cafe.
