Cosy, clean surroundings with Sunday lunch to really get excited about: beautifully cooked lamb, veg and trimmings. Service was perfect: friendly, helpful and prompt.

Cosy restaurant with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Food cooked to order and very tasty. I had the chicken, my friend had duck and both guys had steak. Equally enjoyed by all. Thank you!

Despite visiting on a busy Saturday night, service was slick, our food was perfectly prepared and well presented, and the wines we chose complimented the dishes really well. Luckily, we went straight to the main course, so there was still room for desert, as portions are good. We'll certainly return if we're in the area as the experience was so good.

Yet another superb meal here tonight, the sea bass was beautifully cooked and the veg were spot on, my favourite fillet steak with Stilton and pistachio sauce was sublime perfectly cooked , rare. Been coming here for seven plus years and never had any complaints. Very highly recommended.

Excellent meal, tasty lamb and rib eye steak and yummy lemon meringue pie.Steak originally came out well done. We had asked for medium rare, so they refired it and it was perfect.Nice atmosphere and polite staff.

Had a great steak meal, lovely welcoming service and dog friendly.Gorgeous, cozy restaurant inside.I had the Sirloin steak with lots of chunky chips, 2 onion rings, mushrooms, tomatoes, salad and Bernaise sauce. The steak was cooked medium for me and it was so tasty, well seasoned and melted in the mouth, and the mushrooms were the tastiest I’d ever had. Would definitely return!
