If you like small down to basics pubs, look no further than The Cross House Tavern in tne heart of Tewkesbury, quality straight from the barrel beer & ciders in what can only be described as a real old school pub that has a feeling of a 1930 ealing film set.If you're hungry, there are ham or cheese cobs/rolls, no cooking smells to ruin the beer or atmosphere.

Went into this pub. TOTALLY UNDREWHEMED. The barman was totally uninterested and the beer undrinkable. I for one will never go back.

An absolute gem. We visited Tewkesbury for 2 nights and we're lucky enough to find the Cross House Tavern on the first evening. The welcome, service, ales and perry were all superb and we felt like locals going back on the second evening.

Beautiful old building with a great interior. A few decent ciders but the beer range is old fashioned traditional cask ales but I would like to see some modern new world happy beers which I would expect from a micropub
