Terrible customer service. We used to spend a lot of money here on takeaways, but last night was the last time. We ordered a delivery for 1930 for when my wife got home from work. Turned up at around 1730. When I questioned the driver, he just shrugged and handed me the food. Phoned the restaurant and was asked if this was ok, or did I want another sent out later. I opted for another sent out later. Thought this was the end of the matter. Instead, I receive a phone-call later asking for the food to be sent back??? Assuming the driver would drop the order off at 1930 and pick up the old 1 then??? Nope. The delivery driver turns up at 1830 and says “give me the food”. When questioned why he is back, and whats going on, again just shrugs. So I give him the food. And off he goes. At 1930 he turns up, with what I expect to be the exact same food I sent back, just reheated (contains prawns) as it all tasted soft and soggy including the nuts, which it doesn’t usually, and like I say, we used to order a lot.Really terrible way to treat a long standing customer who spends a lot of money with this place.

So far he was always happy with the food, but unfortunately not today. I understand that the waiting time may be longer (today by an hour), but why did the food arrive completely cold ?!? The taste wasn't the same as usual and the spring rolls were very dry.A really big disappointment.

i ordered 'crispy' beef and squid it came sopping wet and freezing cold, very dissapointing. This takeaway used to be very nice maybe 2 years ago but it's gone downhill massively i wouldn't recommend it or delivery service my food took over an hour to come and it was all cold . 0/10 dont go here.

We actually ordered a takeaway. Cost Almost £45, the whole lot went in the bin. Prawn toast seem undercooked. Crispy chicken was more like sticky chicken. Duck spring rolls had a strand of duck in them and were soggy not crispy. Pineapple fritters soggy. All food cold. Had to phone for missing cola. Actually phoned to give them opportunity to put it right he just made excuses.” Can’t fill spring rolls with duck- be too expensive. Chicken softens crispness on delivery!!!” So incredibly disappointed. Being ordering from here for years. All he wanted to credit was spring rolls and fritters from £45 of food put in the bin.

We ordered a take away to be delivered. We are staying in a holiday cottage round the corner. Due to lots of walking we were shattered so opted for delivery. Took over an hour to arrive. We ordered special chow mein & special fried rice with sauce. Because of what we order at home, we were not expecting a very dry chow mein. The special fried rice came in a half & half container so not a lot of rice. A few veggies & a little liquid. It was just OK. Too be honest most of it was leftover & put in fridge only to be discarded when we left.

Always been relatively happy with the food, if stuff has been cold (a handful of occasions) they’ve normally sent out a replacement that’s piping hot. On this alone I’d give 4 star.However, they no longer accept card on their website, hence such a poor review. Sadly, this means we won’t be ordering from them anymore. We don’t carry cash unfortunately (we’re not 50+) and having to go to a cash point, to then have food delivered, defeats the point of a takeaway. It’s also a nightmare to park in town so collecting is just a pain. Such a shame. Please bring back card payments.

Don’t get me wrong the food is excellentThe problem is the delivery service, They wait until they have 4 or 5 orders then go out and delivery them , so if your not first your food is going to be cold . And probably been travelling around for a hour or two .They need to sort this issue out .My advice would be to collect your meal in person.It’s a shame because of this they are not getting the credit they deserve.

Haven't used this place since it was run by Mr and Mrs Fong some years ago. Tried it again for an anniversary treat and so glad we did. By some way the best Chinese food we've had for a very long time. Quick efficient service and extras too. The starters were several notches above the equivalents in most restaurants and the main dishes were absolutely outstanding. Admittedly the decor is somewhat Spartan but with food and service like that who cares. Prices very competitive too especially considering the quality being served.
