Shocking experience for our afternoon coffee. We are both coeliac and the manager was so ignorant around the fact they had no signs up to say gluten free but said that the cake was gluten free. To then turn round and say it wasn’t gluten free and they didn’t advertise it because of cross contamination. Very disappointing.

Coffee at Coffee #1 The only good thing thing about yesterday's experience was the Coffee. When I tried to go to the toilet, I couldn't go into the ladies because the lock was damaged, the disabled toilet I used was in darkness although I did try to turn the light on. Indeed it in the end because only choice I had was to use the gents toilet and I wasn't about to do that. YOU SHOULD DO BETTER. I am a sight and hearing impaired woman. You need to be better.

They were not clearing tables, so it was hard to get a seat. The cakes are also very expensive. They do serve coffee thoughKid-friendliness: No hi chairs that I saw. Navigating a buggy through there looked fun too

Sinse moving to Alveston, I go down to Thornbury High Street most days, Mines a dark roast Cappuccino in here, I usually go for the boring old 'Americano' when I buy a coffee out. But tried the above for a change and I am now hooked. And the staff are so helpful and friendly, and always a relaxing atmosphere, Mark,

Good coffee, great carrot cake, cute interior- one of my favourite places to have a catch up.

It's been years since we've been to this village let alone this coffee chain. We really loved it here. Absolutely great coffee and lovely sweet treats. Second time we visited it was really busy (popular) but staff were really on top of it and serving customers efficiently and swiftly. Really recommended.

Always loved this place , lively atmosphere and the lady that was working that day adored our dog and told us they sell little pup cups for dogs ! So our pup was happy !

Delicious coffees with an optional seasonal blend which is worth giving a try. Perfect place to get some work done whilst enjoying a double espresso.
