We went for lunch on a weekday, and didn't expect table service as it's a pub - but that's what we got, which was lovely.We chose different dishes, both of which arrived in more generous portions than you would expect for the excellent prices.Will definitely go again (and if you're reading this and are tempted - try the faggots and mash, bloody lovely).
Dropped in for lunch with my mum. We had the liver casserole and I have to say it was delicious. It was home made and the seasoning and flavour perfect / served with proper mash and vegetables that were cooked perfectly - it was really good value for money. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked good. The customer experience was really good too - the lady that served us was friendly and efficient. We celebrated Mother's Day, 9 of us for Sunday lunch and a very pleasant occasion it was. Choice of 3 roasts and very well cooked and presented they were. Excellent quality and good service made for an enjoyable celebration.
