“friends and family recently booked table for 7 arrived to be told they had booked cream teas which they hadn't were pressured into accepting it food arrived dry sandwiches, stale crisps, no tea or coffee, no serviettes or cutlery, they ordered and paid for coffees separately. Massive queue waiting to pay so they left, waitress followed them outside where they paid £30 generous considering the horrible food they hadn't ordered and didn't eat! Owner then shamed them publicly on social media as vile people who left without paying and with no way to defend or explain what actually happened. They are not vile people. They are unhappy customers who didn't want to pay for something they didn't book, didn't want, and didn't eat! and were not about to pay £25 each for. Fair play to them for refusing to put up with bad service horrible food and being ripped off! Read some of the other reviews on their website and this I not an isolated incident.”

“Amazing. Usually with these they are the same. This one is great. My parents are frequent customers and on my visit today they were great. Chris is what customer service standards should be measured against. Great with my kids. Accommodating, conversational and great at what he does. By far the best place for a something to eat or drink in thornbury.”
