Lovely staff, couldn't do enough for you! Meals were huge portions and tasted lovely. Only complaint is that one of the meals came out cold, but was quickly rectified with a replacement. Overall, I would recommend Ship Inn for a tasty pub meal out

Attended 60th birthday. Good service and food. Staff did well with big party and happy for everyone to pay separately when left.

Our food was awful. The veg was overcooked and potatoes were hollow inside and rock hard. Stuffing was also hard and I couldn’t cut it. We had a dirty ramakin bowl with one dessert. The meat on our roast was the only good thing on the plate. They took £1.75 off the bill due to a dirty dessert bowl. It was expensive and an absolute waste of money. Mother’s Day lunch was extremely disappointing. Will not be coming back. The ladies loo was rather dirty also.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch the rib of beef was fantastic but let down with frozen peas and sprouts and a slither of carrot but should have cauliflower cheese with it not Extra but great service staff very good at what they do so I would say 7 out of 10

Way too expensive. It's a pub that thinks it's a 5 star restaurant. People want reasonably priced food not a £17 burger. Tiny portions also Places like this are the reason the traditional pub is closing down. Not value for money at

Just had a lovely meal here. Greet service. And Dan made me the best Irish coffee I’ve ever had. Such a lovelY lad very personable and went over and above to make sure we had a good night. A true crew for to your establishment. Thank you Dan.
We have been married 53 years and thought it would be nice to have the valentine meal. The food was delicious but we were very disappointed with the atmosphere of the evening. No hearts ? no candles ?️ no rose on the tables. Just felt a little disappointed.?Parking: ??

Great food especially on a Sunday when they do a roast and a nice atmosphere in the pub with a nice rustic architecture. Would highly recommend especially on a Sunday.

The food wer nice, big portions, made well, can't fault it at all. The service, however, was very slow and inattentive, constantly having to wave staff down as if they'd forgotten you exist. I did ask for some sauces, when our meals arrived and they never came back with any. Why don't these places, not just here but everywhere, not just have bottles of ketchup on the tables, is it too much to ask?

We had a meal here as a large party. Service was good, food was delicious. I can't speak to the atmosphere of the place in general as we had a hired room there.

Well located and plenty of parking. Food was good and staff were helpful. Wasn't too busy when we went for lunch, but recommend booking
