Went in for a coffee and bacon sandwich.Had to stand at the counter for 5 minutes before I was even acknowledged by the 2 women working there. Wasn't even that busy so surprised to have to wait to be spoken too and then no hello or smile!I asked for a cappuccino the lady said we don't do that but I will make you a milky coffee. Strange because it's on the menu???Asked for the bacon to be well done and got another funny look.Sandwich was good and coffee fine but the service leaves...read full review
Really nice cafe doing hearty breakfasts. I did smile at the menu which is shown on tv screens. As the prices have gone up, they have put stickers on the screen with the new prices, if I had the time I would have offered to change the images on the screens.
Great place, lovely atmosphere, breakfast was quality, not greasy, just very tasty. They get very busy in there, which proves how good it is. Only criticism was they left us short of bread&butter, we asked but never had it, lady did apologise later, she said she was busy n forgot. Would recommend to anyone. By the way, it's now called Café A38.
