Super friendly & welcoming quaint local pub serving incredible food & ales at great prices. We had great communications with Jon to organise our booking & we’re warmly welcomed by him & the other staff. The food menu was superb & we could not fault anything. We stayed in a cottage locally and had dinner there on our first night, the meal was great, the team and locals made us feel so welcome, we went back for dinner a further 2 nights, again the food was good pub grub. We popped in for a popped in for a drink one evening too and chatted with the landlord who organised for the lady who makes the puddings to deliver a treacle tart earlier so my partner could try it before we left. A great Sunday lunch, meeting friends. A very warm welcome from everyone working here today. Excellent roast meals (meat and vegetarian options) in a traditional English pub, superb value and everything home made. The pub was fully booked, but we weren’t rushed and received great service all round. Thank you
