This place is a must if you visit hineybourne and the surrounding areas......I love a curry and I would say this is one of the tastiest curry's I've ever had.....they always go above and beyond to make sure everything is fine its well worth the wait.

We continue to go to this top notch Indian restaurant. It is consistent in providing top quality Indian cuisine. We have many choices to choose from within our district, but prefer to travel a little further for our takeaways as they keep up excellent standards with tasty and generous portions. I don't very often write reviews, but feel this one is well deserved. Keep up the excellent service ?

A lovely new discovery in a local pub - a perfectly cooked Sunday lunch treat provided by Will’s Kitchen & Carvery. Between the four of us we sampled all three roasts: beef, turkey & pork, all served with options of meat stuffing or sage & onion, Yorkshire puds, home made roast potatoes as well as boiled new potatoes and a selection of at least ten other vegetables, with lovely rich gravy. Everything was perfectly cooked and hot. A really good meal which we’d thoroughly recommend. Lovely home made desserts too - we sampled two of the cheesecakes and the Dutch apple pie. Very reasonably priced soft drinks in the pub bar also. Extremely good value for money and excellent, welcoming customer service. We will be back! Thank you :)

Came for Sunday carvery at Wills Kitchen at The Gate. The drinks are served in the pub and carvery in another room. The drinks were reasonably priced. Went into room for the carvery and shown to our reserved table. The carvery was well presented, it does not look much from afar but there is a wide variety of potatoes and vegetables with three choices of meat. The Yorkshire puddings and stuffing were tasty. Everything was hot and lots of choice. We had a pudding which was part of the deal currently on and these were scrumptious. I think this is a new venture for Wills Kitchen, it was an excellent carvery and comparable to established local pubs with a carvery. It is a small team running this but the service is good and personal.

Had a takeaway from here , we only live a few minutes from this place and it was late. The chicken was as tough as anything , the chips hadn’t seen a fryer more than a minute or two and the naan breads were incorrect , the food was awful so I shan’t bother again

Staying in a local cottage with my husband and we were looking for somewhere nearby to go for dinner. Read the reviews of this restaurant and was initially put off but decided to give it a go as we are huge curry lovers and it was the only indian restaurant nearby. All I can say is wow! The service was fantastic, spacious tables, attentive staff despite every table being occupied, food was absolutley amazing (I had the chicken shashlick and husband had lamb towa plus lots of other sides) the food was hot and good quality meat used. Gutted we don't live nearby as would be back regularly!
