The Hagen & Hyde is my favourite pub in the area. Great selection of beers and for very good prices in London.

I had one pint of ale which was good value and nice. Going up to buy the same ale I was told the pipes need cleaning and I would have to wait 15 minutes. I left the pub, bye bye ?

Really love this place. Old school look and atmosphere. Drink selection is spot on. Service is great. Definitely my type of pub in an area full of pubs that have far too many of the no sock, sunglasses on the head brigade.

Posting this on behalf of my girlfriend and I who absolutely loved this place - just moved to Balham and went in on Saturday. Music (live!!) was fantastic, great beer garden etc.Particular shout out to the friendly brunette lady behind the bar and the man Jordan for the drink (and shot) recommendations and the advice on Balham. Thank you.Such a shame you don't do Sunday roasts for the day after. 10/10.

I recently visited Hagen & Hyde and was pleased with my experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I particularly enjoyed the variety of cocktails offered, each one made with care and precision.The food was also noteworthy, with a range of options to choose from. I opted for the burger, which was cooked to perfection and accompanied by delicious fries. The only downside was that the portion size was quite small, especially for the price.Overall, Hagen & Hyde is a great spot for a night out with friends or a cozy dinner with a date. The service and atmosphere make up for the slightly overpriced food
Great drinks, fab garden, and amazing staff, what more could you want from a Balham pub? Local businesses have you covered for food. If you’re one of the lucky ones you’ll come in just as the staff have made their experimental toffee vodka. Love this place
Lady LJ & Love Live Lift At 100
Used to be great but seemed to have gone downhill. No more food (you order a pizza delivery), bar staff seemed disinterested, bored and had to keep looking up how to make up the drinks. And the quiz didn’t happen. Oh…and avoid the toilets (gross and dangerous to get to on those stairs).

The place has a great vibe and the lady I got served by was lovely (name not known). Got the drink I asked for and it wasn't too busy (at 6pm on a Friday). I will go again whenever I am in the area.

Staff were awful yesterday. Came in at 0930 last night, they said they couldn't be bothered anymore so last order bell rang. One came over, made up a wild story that they had to close due to "flooding in the basement which has impacted the electricity". This was just after we ordered drinks. We were ushered out shortly after, the pub was pretty full.

Great atmosphere. Different levels and Outside space which adds to making the venue great for a birthday celebration for a friend. Bathrooms Not clean and Bar Staff took too long to serve, so I would suggest possibly more staff behind the bar. Missed opportunity to make money for the business and benefit from happier customers also.
