The restaurant has a great location and a pleasant atmosphere. The food was delicious, especially the main course, although the waiting time was a little longer than expected. I found Barking Cafe near our hotel and decided to give it a try. To our delight, the food was amazing, the portions generous, and the service warm and welcoming—thanks to the friendly owners who made us feel right at home.
We loved it so much that Barking Café quickly became our go-to spot. On our last day, my son even chose it for our final meal in England. Highly recommended for an authentic and memorable breakfast experience!.

The grilled dishes were especially tasty and cooked perfectly. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. 58 Ripple Rd, BarkingA gem of a Turkish in Barking. The smells coming from inside is what lead me in.
Was a bit skeptical at first - heard Wood Oven is the best Turkish in the area but it was extremely busy inside KTKC and that's always a good sign.
Wasn't disappointed! The prices are very, very reasonable. Much cheaper than Wood Oven but they are not skimping in anything as the food was freshz tasty and went down a treat with the family.
Definitely will be back and 100% recommended this for anyone looking for a Turkish restaurant in Barking.

2, The Vicarage Field Shopping Centre, Ripple Rd, BarkingI was staying in a nearby hotel for a few days and was pleasantly surprised how great this Caffe is. I was initially put off by the amount of smokers outside but I gave it sure anyway. Food and coffee were excellent. Staff very pleasant.

I tried their grilled items and the vegetarian hot pizza. They were really nice. The medium thin base made the pizza extremely nice. Now, the grilled chicken burger is my new to go meal.. The staffs are really nice as well . Loved that.

59 East Street, BarkingI absolutely love Greggs! I love the fact that I get free tea at the weekend and another one during the week. One around my way Sells doughnuts for as little as £3 and some change for 15 or 12 and two Belgium buns for 55p. I can't complain at all, theyre delicious.

You exit barking station from a long day at work or for whatever nonsensical reason. Outside of the station, you may see anything. The shopping centre, 5 buses, the flashing lights of a police car. You may hear anything. An uncle praising Jesus, a knife fight near the pub, the construction site. But… we all smell the same chicken shop. That’s the staple of Barking. Kennedys
It’s open til late, with a workforce so respectful they make my day every time. They master their craft with generosity. In fact it is that generosity that makes me write the review. I asked for 4 wings in addition to my two fillet burger meals… they gave me 11. ELEVEN. 4 times 3 minus 1.
This is the New York Tiffany store of chicken shops. They even have lady liberty to support that claim.
I can’t recommend it more. If a highway man of a bygone era stopped here for dinner, the world would be a more peaceful place today.

62-64 Station Parade, BarkingPopped in this morning to get a berry cooler to take the edge off this heatwave. Service was quick and friendly and I was in an out in no time at all.
Is worth noting that there is a step into the store. I was with a wheelchair user but was in a rush so didn't try to get them into the store so apologies if a ramp is available on request. If it is it may be worth replying to this for future reference for others as well as myself.
Reading older reviews I wasnt sure what to expect but I genuinely couldn't fault the staff at all and will absolutely be stopping by again if I'm in that part of town

However, our experience was slightly marred by the staff's uncooperative attitude. When we asked for ketchup and mayo, we were informed that they had run out, which seemed unusual. The staff member's response felt a bit dismissive, and it left us disappointed. We understand that sometimes supplies run low, but the lack of alternative options or any apology for the inconvenience was frustrating.
Despite this minor setback, the overall quality of the food and the clean, inviting environment made up for the less-than-ideal service. I would still recommend KFC Barking for a quick and tasty meal, but hope that the staff can be a bit more accommodating in the future. 4 stars.
