Perfect place for an affordable brunch. Great selections in the menu, unique with a mediterranean touch. The space can be a bit crowded, some of the table are too close together. Has a large space in the basement though which has a play pit for kids, and the toilets are there too, so not so wheelchair friendly. It is busy on weekend mornings.

The food wasnt good but it wasn't the worst either. The risotto we ate had a chicken stock taste and the pizza was just 'meh' if u know what I mean. However, the calamari was splendid. We also ate the linguine gamberoni, which had seafood and a pretty good tomato sauce. Despite all the fabulous reviews and ratings, it wasn't the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to, and definitely wouldn't be a place I would rush to go to again. Inside the restaurant, there was an orange light that absolutely blinded me, and it made our faces in photos look like oompa loompas. It was also unbelievably hot but only on one side of my body.

Decided to take my son here after seeing a review on YouTube by Gary Eats. We had both decided that we wanted the beef rib but our server suggested the smoked combo which we decided against. We also ordered 2 sides of skinny fries and onion rings. The beef rib while tender was fairly bland and not much taste, the onion rings were good and plenty of them. I know this wasn't the restaurants fault but there was a guy sitting behind us who's every other word was the F word, not nice when the place is fairly empty and it was a friend of the server. Would I go back? Maybe if I was in the area.

This place is unbelievable. I had never been before but the exterior was so nicely illuminated as I was passing it enticed me to stop. And what I encountered within was exceptional. A very warm, softly lit, cosy, rustic and inviting interior immediately made me feel comfortable. There was live music with a gentleman playing a guitar, singing and strolling about as he played, almost akin to a troubadour of old! It was full of merriment and happy families dining away in a subtle murmur of satisfaction. It is particularly family friendly, with little bambini coming and going with their families. Don’t let the presence of children deter you tho, these were amongst the nicest and well behaved children I’ve ever encountered in a restaurant. And speaking of kids, it’s almost run one by, haha! Daughter of the owner Peppe, her name is Giulia and I swear to God she is an angel! I’ve never encountered anyone so genuinely kind hearted and she’s still at school herself for crying out loud! She gets an A* for hospitality bless her. Shout out to Patricia behind the bar too who was very nice. In fact all the service staff were, a fantastic bunch of people, very helpful, attentive and friendly. They have the best of the Italian beers on draught amongst others and their wine list is phenomenal. The large glass of chianti I had was a very good one. And the food! I had a capriciossa pizza and it was sublime. That pizza chef knows what he’s doing. Light as a feather dough, high quality fresh ingredients, with big chunks of artichoke which I love, but the highlight of which was a wonderful pommodoro/passata tomato base, absolutely deliciozo! I want another one already! I cannot recommend it highly enough, whether you’re in a large group, going as a couple for a special occasion/weekly night out, as a family or even as a solitary individual patron, you will be treated equally wonderfully by this establishment. Probably best to book a table though if in a group of more than two, this place is busy which is always a good sign. Go check it out for yourselves, and bring your appetite with you, your stomach will thank you. Grazie Peppe! ;)

On a good day a really great place to go for a breakfast. If you know it ask for Fatima or Monika. Always quick service and although not haute cuisine I’ve personally NEVER sent anything back. Parking is 50:50 but usually good. Certainly give it a try if new to the area. The locals are chatty if you are willing today hello and dog friendly on the outside tables. First Saturday of every month there is an outdoor market worth a visit just opposite.

Went on a Sunday lunchtime. Amazing food and very good service. Probably the best pub roast I have ever had. Definitely go if you're looking for a better Sunday dinner than average! The kids fish and chips was excellent too.Parking: No charge on Sundays. Lots of bays (on a Sunday at least)

This is the second time eating at Franco Manca within a month and the service is always great and their pizzas are fantastic value and the best on the high street! I’d highly recommend if you are after a truly authentic Italian pizza! Plus their flour is from regenerative agriculture and supplied by Wildfarmed! So ticks all boxes for me!
