Two women working there are quite rude. One replied to a customer in an angry way when they asked about the toilet code. The other was on the phone making a personal call while making the coffees. I was waiting to see if she made a mistake and she did, giving me the wrong size coffee and also forgot to call out another customers name who was waiting for two minutes to see if it was hers or not. On top of that it was clear these two colleagues were arguing about something.

Blonde lady… appallingly rude. Seemed to actually want to escalate a very mild situation about a toastie (I had ordered a ham and cheese toastie but she claimed I had said tomato and cheese). She was intent on having the last word, when the only thing to do in that situation is tell me my redress options. No need to get aggressive.She shouldn’t be front of house.

Extremely nice coffee, and even friendlier staff. Very aesthetically pleasing location as well, clean washrooms as well.

Terrible customer service by the two European ladies. I was waiting a while so I asked the lady if my food is ready she snapped at me for asking and said ask my colleague, then her colleague snapped at me as to why I asked her, absolutely terrible servive. I won't be going again.

The blonde lady who claims is manager was ridiculously rude to her colleague in front of me and my sister she then persisted to be rude and abrupt towards us. Huffed and puffed like she was the big bad wolf. I have been to many costas and this is by far the worse experience I’ve had. Don’t get me wrong it’s clean but the management role has got to her head and an apology to I believe her name was rija as she was very polite and looked shaken by by the angry energy she had received from the manager. Furthermore a healthy and safety hazard to get out the shop by having no handle on the door. If there wa a fire that would be a complete hazard

Really disappointed with the customer service today. I am a regular customer who placed an order and the barista making the order refused to give me one of my PAID hot drinks even though the cashier was assuring her I had paid. In the end very rudely she slammed the cup was making remarks how I hadn’t paid and made it seem like she was doing me a favour by making me one!! Absolutely rude. Does not represent Costa coffee morals at all.

Had a very dry yet somehow damp almond croissant. No black forest, had to settle for chocolate orange which was ok. Not the best costa I have been to. Lovely black haired girl serving though.

The staff is very rude here.Asked politely to staff if they could turn down the music bc it was very loud.Staff became rude and declined the request.

Got mine and my sister’s wrong twice, and whilst I was sat waiting for the drink, they told me to leave rudely thinking I hadn’t ordered.

Possibly the worst experience I've ever had ordering from a Costa. Usually I'd shift some of the blame on the Uber Driver but he was not at fault at all. 3 of the items never even showed up and 1 of the drinks wasn't even sealed properly. Toasties were also both burnt. Absolute shambles. Massive waste of money. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I did not have food just a pot of English Breakfast Tea today. Service and atmosphere are fine. Good for children with Mums etc...

Me and my friends came to costa in barking it was 4 of us and only one of us was getting a drink, the employees here are so rude they shouted at us saying we couldn’t go up stairs because all of us had to buy something in a very bad attitude, we think this was wrong as one of us getting something anyways. The service was so bad if I could give it 0 stars I would have.

Me and my friend (both aged 16 however are still in year 11) decided to go to Costa after school. After our walk to get there, we asked for a caramel cortado. The barista declined our order saying she could not serve us caffeine due to the fact that we were under 16. After repeatedly telling her we were 16, she raised her voice at us and was very hostile. We have come to this Costa many times before and after school and there never seemed to be an issue before so we couldn't understand why there was an issue this time around. We left empty-handed and upset.
