We decided to have lunch and the set menu seemed nice. Cant go wrong with pate and onion relish. The hostess didn’t smile and asked us to repeat our order 3 times. We waited for our main and the garlic and rosemary potatoes were cooked and waiting under the hot plate, I thought it was for 10 minutes under the hot plate but my companion who used to be a chief stated it was there for 15 minutes. We left saying we we’re worried about parking. They charged us for the starter but no apologies were made. Shame!

Me and my buddy heard about the vegan menu they had, we was surprised to see so many options, which was great but also meant we couldn’t decide, a lovely Waitress, I believe to be called Gabriella, gave us some great recommendations. The meal was lovely and so was the service

I love the food at this restaurant even though it has got a bit pricey lately. The wine by glass is far too expensive. I went on Friday 7th February with my husband and grandson. I had a voucher (two for one). When I went to pay the Manageress said I had already used the voucher. I wasn't aware that you could only use this once, as Prezzo Restaurant vouchers can be used as many times as you wish. I explained this to The Manageress who would not budge, even though I am a regular at the restaurant. I found her attitude to be very unapproachable and abrupt. I did have another voucher, but did not put this on my phone. My bill came to £59.60 but should have been more like £45.00. It is the principle of it that is really annoying.

I had a bad experience last time when we came. Hoping 3 months down the line, things might improve. Terrible brunch, terrible service, terrible value. This was my third disastrous visit. I will never return to this restaurant. How it keeps going I don't know. Usually pretty empty, even at Christmas.

Food is nothing special appears to be frozen and reheated. Definitely not cooked fresh to order. Very very expensive for what it is. Plenty of far better local alternatives.

After a bad experience about 2 years ago I haven’t been back to Carluccio’s in Barnet until today. I was very impressed with the service, food and the very friendly manager who seems to have turned this place around. Well done!

I was rather impressed with this restaurant, to start the first course had excellent portion sizes causing no disagreement among my table, furthermore the main course has no flaws to me, it was a suitable portion size and the food was high quality and fresh. I do have one minor complaint unfortunately which is the time in which is took to receive food, they seemed to be a bit drained of staff there. But overall it was a pleasant experience.
