Been here a few times to meet friends for breakfast. We’re quite a large group with children and babies and have been accommodated really well, particularly on our most recent visit this weekend. Even though we seemed one of the first guests eating, the buffet was well stocked and kept fresh throughout. The breakfast buffet is brilliant value and nice for a large group to serve ourselves as we please. We really enjoy coming here and grateful to the staff for their friendliness and accommodations.

I always like coming here for a family Sunday roast the staff members are always lovely and have comfy places to sit. I also like having an option to have something for my daughter to eat is always a bonus tho I gotta say I find the food can be piping hot when shes soo hungry so I have to provide some snacks (shes 2 so I don't want her to burn her mouth) that's the only gripe. the portions are big and the foods always piping hot for us to enjoy plus love the fact I don't have to worry about the washing up !

Came to celebrate my mums 50th birthday. The bar staff were amazing and helpful as usual. Carvery was lovely and hot, and the cooked to order meals looked fantastic too! No complaints here and we'll be back again soon

A wonderful experience at The Red Lion. Weloved the beautiful service from Paula. She was so attentive to us - checking whether we needed anything regularly.The food was amazing - so fresh and delicious. I ate everything.We will definitely return. Thank you?

I have just left in tears having been made to feel so totally uncomfortable because I am gluten free. We ordered three meals and drinks. I checked the gluten free of my meal. Once ordered and the drinks had arrived I was told they had run out of gluten free gravy so I could only have the carvery without gravy. I was then offered a tablet to check other meals I could order only to find every section empty after I had opened every option on the tablet. A manager came over and removed the gluten free option and told me to look through each section and meal again to see where the gluten was, everything said gluten. To say I felt totally unhelped and awkward because I have a dietary requirement is a huge understatement by this point. The manager then checked in the kitchen and said the burgers alone were gluten free and they could do wedges with this so I agreed. By this time the other two members of my table had their meals. The manager then returned and said no to wedges now but I could have a plain burger. This was just the final straw. I cannot believe how uncomfortable I was made to feel watching my two family members eat whilst I had to sit there with nothing - a plain burger is hardly a meal. I wouldn’t even give them one star! You ruined my day and made me feel so awkward with something I have no control over. You could learn a LOT from other restaurants!

Been here many times with family and friends and always had a good time. The staff are friendly and Lorri even remembered my dad who used to go there with his friend. A lovely place with a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Food portions are good too.

This was my first visit here, as I was attending a new monthly meeting (the first of many, I hope).What great staff, and so helpful (Paula and Lorri were terrific).The Carvery lunch was excellent, abs plentiful. The chef was so friendly too.Such a great place to visit, and with onsite car parking (remember to enter your car registration to the computer display to ensure you don’t get a fine, as Patrice receive free parking.I will definitely be back on my own, as well as for the meetings.Many congratulations to the entire team!!

Used to come here for breakfast and evening networking events and now using for a lunchtime networking event. Consistently good food at all three times. Easy parking but do remember to log your number plate on the bar terminal. Always clean, staff always lovely, inexpensive and very generous food portions too.

I love the energy in this place, very positive, good food and great service. I've been working from home or should I call it my other office from the beginning of the pandemic and they have been so kind accommodating. Amanda & Lorri are lovely and they make you feel really welcome. Love the coffee and breakfast.Also I feel its fitting to add that each individual staff wether your being served by Desmond, Pauline or Kay are all amazing and really strive to make you feel at home. If I move house in the future I'll still be coming back here.

Timmy is a very helpful, courteous professional waiter.The main carvery very food was nice(very small portions of meat!) but the Ice cream Sundae was not a sundae but machine ice cream without any fillings but a mere meagre choice of chocolate etc sauce!! Left much to desire….

Would like to say a massive thank you to TIMMY for all his help today and doing the booking for my sons birthday.From beginning he has been so helpful and again today could not do enough.The food was lovely and fresh the only thing was the lady cutting the meats she didn't seem like she wanted to be there.But apart from that its been a great visit and will be going back again soon.

I enjoy coming to the red lion pub, all the staff are always so friendly and welcoming ??. Food is amazing at a great price too, wide selection on the menu to choose from.

A great night out. We had seen that they had a band playing called In Recovery who are brilliant. So we decided to head out for a night out and we wasn’t disappointed. The food was lovely and the service was great. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you for a lovely evening out.

Went here after work with a couple of colleagues on one of those days when you just feel skint. They have an appetizers offer 14.99 for 5 different appetizers which worked out perfectly well because you get a little bit of everything but don't have to spend too much.
