From the warm welcome you enter this haven of magical restaurant experience. The vibe, energy and sleek decor are the initial impact of a great experience ahead for you. My friend and I both vegetarians had the veggie skewers with salad and rice. Absolutely delicious. The desert was superb. Can’t wait to go back.

First time here. Its very, very busy. Lots of people on lots of tables. The food is excellent and staff very attentive. All chicken and lamb dishes were really tasty. Would def return but not often because... it is expensive. Drink is dear especially the wine.

Food is always amazing from here but the music is way too loud. For this reason we eat outside in the summer and take away only in the winter. It’s impossible to talk over the music so the first time we went as just had to sit in silence. I just can’t get enough of their aubergine dip though. I get a take away at least once a week!

Situated on the Cockfosters Road in Barnet. Parking available in the service road outside and in neighboring roads. Ultra modern restaurant, trendy & buzzing. Staff were very welcoming, helpful & attentive. Our waiter (table 24) was outstanding and 'on the ball' The Turkish food was delicious and beautifully presented. The food was delicious and staff were lovely so we would have given 5 stars. However this restaurant has to decide if it wants to be a night club or a restaurant, the music played by a DJ was far too loud for people like us who want to chat over a meal. It was impossible to hear each other and even the staff couldn’t hear us. It’s a shame we won’t go back until this is addressed.

This is a newish restaurant that I had heard about from friends. We went there to celebrate a birthday. The menu is good (if a little pricey). The food came quickly and was top quality, really tasty and good portions. Weird elongated plates made it difficult to put side orders alongside main dishes. The service was very good. But the evening was marred by over-loud music playing constantly. Those on the other side of our table couldn't hear what we were saying and vice versa. People go to restaurants with friends to catch up and talk, they DO NOT go to restaurants to listen to music. And for elderly folk, with non too great hearing, this place is difficult to recommend. Turn the music down (or off) and do what you do best - cook and serve food.

We had a lovely evening. The waiters and owner were attentive and the service was super fast..perhaps a little too quick as we had 2 courses and were still out after a little more than an hour! The ambiance is great. Obviously a lot of thought has gone in to the lighting, the bar area, the visible kitchen. It has the feel of a central London restaurant. Unfortunately, the prices are also at that level! I would say it has become more of a special occasion restaurant for that reason.

Not our first visit here and won't be our last! The food, service and decor is fantastic. its always busy even midweek which tells you something, not to mention the number of people choosing to celebrate their birthday there - and yes I was one of them! Great place.

Lovely place - great ambience. I hadn’t been to the new site, only their old one. Service was fantastic, food delicious, staff all lovely and accommodating with allergies. Brilliant menu and excellent daily specials. Toilet spotless!! I can’t actually think of any negatives - just fantastic. Well done Skewd!
