Dear Asda you have a problem.Firstly the 5000 beggars outside, in the cold and rain, moody and vexed as they would be, so can't you give them a coffee or doughnut nuh? They get vex or sad when we don't have change, yet asda is full of spare food or food that gets thrown out and no one has used that costa coffee machine since 2001. Also I really don't appreciate the rude black girls who work here, very unfriendly and forever giving dirty looks even when I smile at them, heaven forbid I ask them for help. I, as a fellow black person do not deserve poor treatment from my own people. There are polite workers, the friendly older blonde lady at self service, the black guy who works on the chilled section and his white colleague, the older white men workers and the Indian South asian men. But they're not always there and the disrespectful black girls are and I am tired of them kissing their teeth at me or staring at me screw faced. There is also a pound shop khal drogo who pulls the food crates and he is deeply unfriendly and unresponsive when you ask where such and such item is. Screw you asda. Screw you awful workers. And screw the fake Google response which is clearly a robot.

Big place and a lot to choose from. Wish they had prices on everything including the Christmas pillows.A particular incident I can't stop thinking about: I was trying out a coat and I was looking at the mirror until a member of staff came along and said 'You can't try out clothes. Put it back.' There was no excuse me or please. She humiliated me in front of other customers as they were staring due to her speaking for everyone to hear. This was in December 2023 so no covid restrictions. I understand that maybe you still can't try things but it was a coat. Simple to put on and take off. She wanted me to put it back? Aren't I supposed to want to buy it?I was shopping with my mother and I told her what she said. My mother went to try out the same coat in front of her (she's petty like that) and she didn't say anything to her. I don't know if she was having a bad day or if she despises younger people. Either way that was not pleasant and I hope that won't happen again to anyone else.

It has three different ways to pay so it can be a lot quicker to get in and out.

Got a basket full today but then found the self check-out queue very long. I should have looked before even starting. I left my basket behind after 10 mins queueing bc I realised then the wait would be 30 minutes. ASDA - close the entrance if it gets this busy. Don't pretend like this please, you're wasting everybody's time.

I am just wondering if i am going to see Asda get ready on time just once in my life!Every time i go there at 6:30am the store is full of the pallets, half empty shelves , clerks are still sweeping the floor, the trolley are scattered around the car park, grumpy workers etc and they meant to be open at 6am!If you go just further down to Lidl youll notice a massive difference!!

The most shocking customer service I have ever received. Waited for a click and collect order for over two hours and was told by a member of staff that "they had other customers to deal with". Why allow your customers to book a collection slot to just not fulfil it? Was then promised a full refund by the manager and ten days later there is no sign of it.

Very large queues for check out at every station. Understandable as this is a very large supermarket, but does need more signage and check out counters and people on hand to help. Some things were understocked too in the fridges but it was an incredibly busy Sunday.

Visited daily in lockdown, became my home from home and our relationship has gone from strength to strength ever since. 3 world food aisles, need I say any more?

Waited 40 mins for my click and collect order after arriving at my allotted time… even though the app said my order was ready. Could have done a shop several times (even in the terrible layout). Would not recommend this service.

The click and collect used to be really good. Fast, easy and painless. Now they make odd subs for items that turn out to be available in store even though these are picked from the store floor... Had to go in to get items they subbed. (This is not great due to health issues and therefore causing pain).Oh seems they gave part of our order to someone else... The cars for pickup are backed up in a queue.Seems they decided to have the new guy do the click and collect... One manager is helping him, but doesn't seem to be in much of a hurry to get things done.Sadly this is not the first or even second time issues have occurred with this service now. This really needs sorting out.

Went to the store around 7.30pm and did a big shop. Got to the checkout and there was only one till open with about 8 people waiting with full trollies to check out. I went to find someone to ask to open another till and was told there was no one to do it. I left my shopping and walked out. That’s the very last time I will enter the store. You just lost another customer

I was really loyal to this company until they started treating their customers terribly. The Clapham junction store is a mess and a joke. If you aren’t out of the store by 5:30pm on Sunday they force you to leave your groceries behind despite the MASSIVE lines. I wasted an hour in the store today only to be refused service. The way to take action is to bring a SMALL CLAIMS proceeding against them. This is very cheap and will make them pay their lawyers to go to the court to deal with the issue and they will have to start treating their customers fairly. You can bring the claim online.for about £20. Another issue is an order which they didn’t fulfil from July 2023 and as at October 2023 they still had not processed a refund! The consumer regulator needs to take a look at their business practices, charging people for products that aren’t delivered and then not returning the money.***UPDATE*** To ensure this experience does not happen again, next time I visit Clapham Junction, I am going to consume expensive seafood products as I am walking around the store. That is not stealing, because there is an intention to pay for the products. If ASDA should then refuse to accept payment for the products that have been consumed on the grounds that the store has closed, that will be ASDA’s problem!!
