Subway's food is good, nice vegetarian selections. But I came in today and the young man who served me was extremely rude and unprofessional. His colleague had to call him in to serve me from the back room. He spoke maybe 3 words to me throughout the whole order. I got two subs, one cheesy pepperoni and one plant based teriyaki, but he didn't change his gloves after handing the pepperoni and touching the vegan cheese. He placed both sandwiches in the same toaster right next to each other. He was very stingy with toppings to the extent I had to keep asking him to put on more. He had very loose and unbothered body language the whole time, not standing up straight, sighing repeatedly and just really seeming like he didn't want to be there, which, while I do understand, really made me feel alienated. He didn't tell me my order total, just slid the payment machine over to me, and didn't say thank you or have a nice day.I have a lot of sympathy for min wage workers as I've been one myself multiple times, but I don't expect to be made uncomfortable by staff making me feel unwelcome.
