But this time was more special as hired out the back part of the restaurant for my birthday party hosting 40 people all the staff have been amazing looking after us all, nothing was too much trouble.
Birol and the other two young guys who’s name I can’t remember (sorry) have been amazing.
All our guest said what a lovely place it was, excellent food and a great atmosphere. couldn’t have wished for more.
Ok Maybe we could have…. that the night lasted longer as all went by so quickly. ?
Would definitely recommend hosting a party here or just going out for an evening.

9 High St, BeckenhamThe food and drink of this pub is one of the greatest, not only is cheaper than other restaurants like Harvester’s, but is also much better and much more filling. I had a spicy slight barbecue sauce taco, a starter but as filling as a usual main, and a mixed share platter, very nice. The chicken is the most tender thing ever. The service is good, immediately welcomed us, however getting bill took long. Atmosphere is nice, average pub but more family friendly midday.

I Settled on Kathmandu Masala in Beckenham Because It Was the Highest Rated in the Beckenham, West Wickham and Elmers End Area Despite Many Indian Establishments.
Although a Short Two Bus Ride Away It Was The Most Delicious ? Indian I've Had. Definitely in the Top 5.
I had Poppadom to Start Along with Onion Bhaji, Then Lamb Korma, Special Rice and Peshwari Naan to Feast On... I almost finished it but not quite. I decided though to have Mint Ice Cream To Finish Off The Meal, With Added Freshness and Sweetness. Along with Sprite I had a huge meal.
It's been ages since I've had an Indian as I've been a Thai guy for some time..... I was not disappointed!!

202-204 High St, BeckenhamWe were very impressed with this place. A sit in restaurant, as well as a takeaway. We sat in and chose not to go with just your standard cod and chips. I went with the Seabass and my girlfriend went with hake. Both were served with new potatoes, Mediterranean veg and I want to say a butter sauce (just a shame I was half way through eating before I realised I hadn’t taken a photo). Not forgetting our starters of mussels and tempura prawns. We were very impressed and will be returning again.

87-89 High St, BeckenhamWent to Pera last night with a friend for a girls night out and-was greeted with such a warm welcome Sonat and her team. Nothing was too much trouble. We ordered the 2 cocktails for £16 (before 6pm) which is a fab deal. The food came up quickly after ordering and tasted amazing. The food portions were very generous and filling. There was no rush for us to leave and plenty of Instagramable signs to have lovely photos with.
Will recommend to all and most definitely be going again.

The White Horse
205-213 High St, BeckenhamI went back to the The White Horse last night and it reminded me again why it’s one of my favorite pubs in the area.
I came in to watch the Chelsea game . It’s a great place to catch the football with your mates. Plenty of screens, good crowd, and it just feels like a proper local pub.
The Guinness was spot on again. Always one of the reasons I like coming here. Proper creamy pint and poured right.
Had a great night watching the match and enjoying a few pints. I’ll definitely be back again on Saturday night.

A tea/coffee station along with a wine station worked very well. The buffet was perfect with bruschetta, chicken skewers, sausage rolls, smoked salmon canapés and a selection of sandwiches. Would highly recommend for any private function. We were around 35, but it could take at least double that number.

9 High St, BeckenhamThe food and drink of this pub is one of the greatest, not only is cheaper than other restaurants like Harvester’s, but is also much better and much more filling. I had a spicy slight barbecue sauce taco, a starter but as filling as a usual main, and a mixed share platter, very nice. The chicken is the most tender thing ever. The service is good, immediately welcomed us, however getting bill took long. Atmosphere is nice, average pub but more family friendly midday.

263 Croydon Rd, Beckenham? - This Evening I Decided to Venture Out for Dinner..... To have the BEST Indian Cuisine in the Local Area of Bethlem Royal Hospital.
I Settled on Kathmandu Masala in Beckenham Because It Was the Highest Rated in the Beckenham, West Wickham and Elmers End Area Despite Many Indian Establishments.
Although a Short Two Bus Ride Away It Was The Most Delicious ? Indian I've Had. Definitely in the Top 5.
I had Poppadom to Start Along with Onion Bhaji, Then Lamb Korma, Special Rice and Peshwari Naan to Feast On... I almost finished it but not quite. I decided though to have Mint Ice Cream To Finish Off The Meal, With Added Freshness and Sweetness. Along with Sprite I had a huge meal.
It's been ages since I've had an Indian as I've been a Thai guy for some time..... I was not disappointed!!

Vegetarian options: There was only one main dish for vegetarians: spaghetti but it was tasty as was the butternut squash soup starter.

9 Chancery Ln, BeckenhamThis pub used to be my local many years ago and back then it was very much a "locals" pub. It had it's regulars and it's personalities and even had the tankards of regular customers hanging up behind the bar. It was a little dingy but it was cosy and always had a great atmosphere. I imagine it may have been a bit daunting to people who had never been before though.Then I moved away and and didn't return for 30 years. Things have changed a bit since I was last there but the core qualities that made this pub great have remained. The cosiness and friendly atmosphere has remained but the decor has been smartened up and it is now bright and welcoming. Though I haven't been for a long time, and it was hard for me to tell, it looked like there was still quite a few local residents frequenting the place but they were less insular than we used to be and were friendly and welcoming. The staff were pleasant and efficient, joking and chatting with the customers and contributing to the overall happy ambiance.The only problem with the place is the same problem it's always had, The Jolly Woodman is small. It's very difficult to maneuver around inside and getting your drinks from the bar to your table can be an adventure as customers have to dance around each other to avoid disaster. Not so bad on a quiet night, but a problem when it gets busy. Still, it can't be helped so, to mitigate this, the beer garden has loads of seating, heaters and a big waterproof awning.I like this place as I have many happy memories associated with it. Now, having returned, I'm hoping to make many more.Cheers.

51 High St, BeckenhamWe - a group of 8, had a really lovely lunch today at Branded Beckenham. Sof, our waiter, was great, very friendly and provided an excellent service. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants.
