What a gem of a place in Catford. Yes, the venue could do with some updating, but the quality of the food is delicious amd clearly homemade. Although a popular version has opened doors away. My partner amd I really enjoyed our meal and will be visiting.again.

I came here with friends. The service was exceptionally good the lamb chops I chose was so tender. We tried their version of rum punch it was really strong

Nando's Catford

Nice place, tidy and excellent service. The food is OK.
The atmosphere was good BUT the area is rough. Unfortunately there was an incident while we were dinning that made the moment uncomfortable. However it was handle properly and it is not the shops responsibility how customers behave.

Monsoon Indian Restaurant - Indian

The only Indian restaurant I’ll ever go to. Tables are laid so neatly and nicely plus inside is super clean. Food is amazing - hits the spot every time and very good value for money. Also waiter with the glasses gives amazing service, always friendly with a smile on his face. 10/10 recommend this restaurant ❤️

Black Cat

This pub was the Catford Ram back in the day, a Young's pub. It's now independent. I hadn't been in there for years, which is a shame as I have discovered a gem! I popped in with a friend for a quick drink, just to check it out. It had a relaxed, friendly vibe, a proper local pub with different screens for sports, a pool table and some music. The pool was popular, with customers chalking up their names for the next game.
I liked it so much, that I went there on NYE with a friend to check out DJ Betty who was great! Real mix of music - Reggae, Ska, Disco, Motown, 80's/90's.
Everyone was genuinely friendly, the bar staff were great, and we had a great dance! Very impressed with the cost of drinks. We had Gordon's Pink gin and tonic, plus a bar snack for just over £11 which I reckon is the cheapest in Catford. I enjoyed the scampi fries- I hadn't eaten a packet in years!
We are losing so many pubs, it's great to find one that prides itself on being a proper traditional local boozer that really felt like it reflected the Catford community (important with the more recent gentrification in the area).
We will definitely be back. I urge people to check it out. You won't be disappointed. Cheers ?

Visited on a Saturday night Food was good, service was conducted in typical African style, but not the place to go if you're seeking a conversation. The live band was excessively loud!

Really enjoyed my stay. Today was super cold and I needed something hot to drink until my train came. Ordered a large hot drink and the staff was super nice and made my drink quick. The atmosphere was quiet and perfect. Very simple snack

You will have to wait a while as its a 1 man show with uncle bill, but the flavours and taste are proper home cook style.To many carribean places try to get away with some sub standard rubbish but uncle bill always top quality authentic flavours. Best oxtail and rice and peas around

Very nice takeaway delicious food , fries and prawn tempura are my favourite food from Thai garden also green chicken curry is my favourite too

Costa Coffee

Met up with a friend and had a great hot chocolate with marshmallows on top. I was surprised to find that I could charge my phone there too. All plug sockets are USB portable friendly. Not a very big place but the arm-chairs make it so cozy...living-room experience.

I was collecting 'reserved' food for my freezer to eat at a later date. I recommend downloading the app 'Too Good to Go'. Save food from going to waste.

Greggs (136) was very busy! They were almost out of everything when I collected my 'surprise bag' at 4 pm. Another Greggs on Lewisham (High Street) cancelled my order for 'reserve' as all their surplus stock was sold out completely!

Always KFC come up with big offer deals, it’s valuable deal for £7.99 20wings. I visit Catford KFC the wings are soo fresh and juicy and staff served very quick. It was good experience

Accidentally ordered for collection instead of delivery. Called the store to arrange delivery and they sorted it no problem and free of charge! The piazza got here really swiftly and was perfectly cooked. 10/10 will definitely be ordering from here again!

Amazing customer service and top quality food made to perfection by Arbaaz, the manager who was working alone. Bless his heart for being so accomadating late at night. Excelent customer service!

Uber eats had messed up the order, not takeaways fault at all, but they sorted it quickly with no problem and delivered the missing items themselves, food is always great, definitely recommend this place, Thank you!

It was truly delightful to hear Ellie's cheerful demeanor while she was taking our order through the drive-thru speaker. It seemed as though her smile was audible. Individuals who possess such positive integrity and energy are certainly deserving of our utmost care and protection.
