Even een paar minuutjes wachten, maar dan heb je ook een heerlijke burger van hertenvlees

LOOK OUT FOR BEING OVERCHARGED BECAUSE THIS COMPANY'S WEIGHTING SCALES DO NOT START AT “0”I have often purchased my fish from their fish stand. Sometimes the staff can be friendly and other times they're unfriendly. I placed my order and was given a price to pay which I have done in the past without thinking, but today I said to the nice young man can you remove the fish from the weighting scale he did so, and I noticed he wasn't able to reset it to “0’s”. He checked another scale which was the same. This one had a fixed number of “4” and the other one was double at “8”. For people who don't understand what this means, you are getting over-changed on the weight of your fish. I mentioned it to the old guy who answered me with disgust, he was super rude. I did get overcharged for my fish only by 0.10p instead of 0.30p. If you haven't heard the story of “Aman Shah Ahmad who stole 1 cent from each customer in the bank and became rich” I suggest you have a read!We are so much in a hurry nowadays that some people paying attention to the weighing scale which makes it easier for companies in the market to get away with this sort of behaviour. The young man selling me the fish said it's only a few pennies but that 0.30p can buy an Apple at the East Street market and that 0.10p can buy a lime at the East Market. It is not about the pennies lost it is about the mistrust.

The chips are fantastic! This is after I'd eaten two-thirds of them.

Usually great fish from here but I got some red mullet which ended up being slimey and smelly. Must have been off, had one bite and tasted rancid and metallic once cooked. It was on half price deal which maybe should have been a red flag, but wouldn’t expect bad fish from Borough market. Must have been an off day because usually I would trust their fish 100%, but next time if somethings a bit old don't half the price, please just don’t sell it.

I've had a lot of venison burgers and a lot of scallops, and these were some of the best I've ever had. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!

Great spot for fresh fish, seafood, and oysters in Borough Market! We got the cured beet and cured pastrami salmon. Both were super delicious, especially the pastrami which was our favourite. There was a line up for the fresh oysters which came in all shapes and sizes, some were huge! Overall an enjoyable experience in the market.

Their smoked salmon and gravlax is some of the best I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this fishmonger for salmon, oysters and other fresh fish—they have a big selection!

At Burrough Market, London, the oyster place is a gem. The oysters are impressively fresh and generously sized. The shopkeeper's hospitality stands out, making the experience even more enjoyable. I returned for a second visit, drawn by the quality. They offer a selection of homemade sauces that perfectly complement the oysters. For oyster enthusiasts, this spot is a must-visit in the heart of the market's bustling atmosphere.

Ordered to be delivered to my flat in Surrey, arrived in good time and nice fresh fish BUT no use by dates on the packaging and also on your website on the fish pie mix you have photo of the fish pie mix that has scallops so I thought the scallops where part of the fish pie mix only to be disappointed on delivery that there were none, then checked on your website again and on the description it says just salmon, cod and smoked Haddock but the picture is very misleading.

This was the BEST burger I’ve ever had. For real, I’m so serious, it was amazing. And it was only ten pounds and it came out pretty fast.

Hands down the best burger I have ever had!

Eggcellent We were walking around Borough Market when we came across the small Shell Seekers spot. Among other items, they had Scotch Egg listed as items they sold. I've never had a Scotch egg before and it was something I definitely wanted to try while we visited London. Once I saw they have Scotch Eggs I didn't pay any attention to anything else they offer, including the scallops I'm reading about in the other reviews. It was larger than I expected. I think the friendly and helpful person was really into getting me my first Scotch egg, including adding some brown jam in the container. There is no seating at Shell Seekers so I headed just beyond the market to get away from the crowd. The egg was not hardboiled as I expected, it was soft boiled or poached where the yolk was soft but not runny. The pork around the egg was thick and there was a little crunch on the outside, maybe made with breadcrumbs. As this was my first Scotch egg I have nothing to compare it to. I can say I was excited, it was fun to eat, and it was filling.
