I was with friends and we ordered a range of drinks and meals. The ale we wanted ran out and food items were not available and we had to choose alternatives. Whilst waiting for the food we were told they had run out of cabbage. When the (average at best) food arrived it was barely warm except for the pie which made us think all of the meals had been left waiting for that. The decor/atmosphere is nice but we won't go back.

We went to Southwark Tavern before the theater without a reservation. We were seated promptly and the service was wonderful. My fish was delicious but the white chocolate raspberry cheesecake was fantastic!

Beautiful English pub in the Borough Market areaI went to this pub with my girlfriend during a holiday in London. The venue, practically inside the Borough Market. it is located very close to London Bridge railway station. The interior, which also extends to the basement, is in perfect English style. We sat down in one of the cells down the street and enjoyed a draft beer. The atmosphere is very quiet and made pleasant by piped music. Prices are in line with those of the English capital.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian dishes also available.
