Came here recently for my 30th birthday - the staff were amazing and so attentive, the location was great and everyone was so accommodating. Drinks are priced very reasonably, toilets clean - everyone had an amazing evening. Plus the DJ was fab!! Had the best night. Thank you so much!

Such a great pub. Been coming here for years but it only gets better. Had the best night ever at Karaoke on Thursday night, such a good atmosphere and great service all night. Came back again at the weekend for a late lunch and stayed for the whole evening, DJ was fantastic and food was great.

I went here for Xmas day Dinner and it was awful and well over priced. We were over charged online before we had even sat down. We were sat at a table right by the back door so it was cold with people going in and out and the cheap paper table cloth was all ripped and stained with drink marks, we complained but were told that they can't stop people putting their drinks on the table even though it was set up for Xmas day dinner. Starters came out and were wrong and not what we ordered and mine tasted awful it was some sort of Pate but looked like dog food, again complained and they admitted to mixing our food with someone else's. Then it took ages to bring out our main meals eventually it came and we complained about it and the waitress said I am the only one working I am trying my best. Some of the food was not cooked properly as well again complained she just said I will tell the kitchen. After finishing our main meals the plates were just left on the table for ages and they brought the deserts out while our dirty plates were still left on the table so no room to put our deserts, I said to them this is awful service they said nothing just took the dirty plates away. We were then over charged again for extra food which we had not ordered unbelievable after such a shocking experience. The pub was not even that busy neither for Xmas dinner which makes it worse. A table of 8 left just before us and we're complaining of the bad service they received so it was not just us complaining. We were also over charged for drinks £16 for a non alcoholic cider and a vodka and lemonade again complained but was told the price was correct. I paid the bill and made an overall complaint to someone I think was the manager or supervisor and they offered nothing as a discount what so ever. I since complained to Greene king the owners of the pub and they just basically swept the complaint under the table and were quite rude on one of their emails and also offered absolutely nothing to me in compensation awful company they don't care about their customers experience they just want your money.
Had a mixed shareing platter 5 dish only £26 added some chips plenty for 2 couldn't eat it all so took some home was served by a lady called royann she was lovely came to check we had everything we needed and was interesting to talk to can recommend for a pub

Dreadful! We had a terrible Sunday roast, firstly, we had to wait well over an hour for the food to arrive. The chicken was awful, so tough. Very small portions of vegetables, including a teaspoon of over cooked cabbage. Roast potatoes tasted ok, but only 2 small pieces. Nice cauliflower cheese. The gravy had been missed off on my husbands dinner. Also my drink came up with lipstick on the glass! All our 4 meals were awful, so very disappointing. Staff were polite & helpful.
