2 Bexley High St, BexleySecond time coming here with my girlfriend and it really is an amazing place. There's a reason why it's been there for years. Amazing owners, quick service beautiful food and lovely atmosphere. And they kindly found us a table without booking. It's the best Italian restaurant in the South East by far. Highly recommend.

Old Bexley Greek Taverna
82 Bexley High St, BexleyWe had reserved a table at the Italian next door with 3 weeks notice, but when we turned up, they had given our table away due to the customers claiming to be our party. After failing to correct the mistake, we wandered next door to the Greek Taverna. We were welcomed in and given a table upstairs. The staff were accommodating and friendly. There was no rush to get an order in and move on. The food was delicious and the portions were very generous.
The menu offered lots of options, and the staff were happy to offer help when trying to decide which to order.
The atmosphere was warm, the staff were lovely and the food was excellent. When we thought the night had been ruined by the restaurant next door, The Greek Taverna turned it around and gave us the perfect setting to celebrate the birthdays and achievements that we had set out to celebrate. Would recommend, and will visit again.

The food is always delicious and the staff lovely. I always collect so cannot comment on delivery but I will always recommend this place to anyone in the area because you cannot beat it.

Beef massaman curry was great quality and delicious, pad Thai was quite good could be better, salt and pepper calamari was tasty, not very crispy but can understand with takeaway. Price not too bad and service was very good. Probably wouldn’t have the pad Thai again but would try some new things definitely.

I was surprised at how quick the food arrived after ordering. Super tasty and piping hot. The fruitti di mare was packed full of flavour and very generous with the seafood (which was exceptionally fresh and cooked on pointe). Another of our group had the lasagne - I’m sure it’s nonna’s recipe! It first time here and won’t be our last!

Whether it is a Sunday roast Mediterranean style, the garlic mushrooms or the Monday steaks, the cooking is amazing. The owners are friendly and the service excellent. The upstairs room can get a little noisy but nothing to stop you going. Highly recommended for a great tasting, very reasonably priced dining experience.

63 Albert Rd, BexleyI went with a friend to watch football on Sky TV. We had a small bar to ourselves. Only one ale available - Harvey's Susssex BB. Pub was well heated and welcoming, not many customers for a Friday evening, most left before we did at 10pm.
