“We had a lovely time here. It was a big party for a family birthday. The staff couldn't do enough to help us celebrate, and they felt like part of the family.
The food was so fresh and hot when it was served, all at the same time. We had vegetarians at the meal, and the food they had was equally well prepared and served with the other food.
We will definitely be back there asap.
The food wasn't overpriced either.
It's a lovely place to dine in.

“My husband and I went to Hazine for the first time. The staff were all very friendly and attentive especially our waiter Andy.

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance.

The food was delicious and the cocktails did not disappoint.

The service was second to none. The staff were vigilant and only attended the table when needed. They did not keep interrupting to ask if everything was ok like in some restaurants.

We would definitely recommend this restaurant and plan to go again.

Parking: There is parking on the street opposite the restaurant. It is paid parking but free after a certain time.”

“A lovely authentic pub run by capable and friendly people. Excellent ale choice available. Dog friendly in side bar. I had a very good ploughman’s lunch. The only slight drawback is the tricky on-street parking which will force you to walk a bit.”

“I visited here on the 2nd August 2025 for an event called Rum n Reggae.Was very busy and what I liked was all proceeds from the day were going to Charity! Small pub with an outside area with Tables and Chairs under a Gazebo cover. Friendly place was extremely busy when I attended DJ's on the day great, and superb music.”

“Went into the kings arms up the road, as it has had good reviews for food so i was told.
The pub has had a refurb. I didnt like it. All stalls and hard floors, a bit like a train terminus vibe.
It also didnt have any beer on tap.! What is the point of that.
So we left.
We walked into the rose and was greeted
immediately. It felt relaxed and comfortable.and just how a pub should look.
To cut a long story short the rose was lovely, lovely beer good service and a huge ploughmans.”
