I phoned to order a cake and was told I could do it online. I then went online expecting to pick up my cake for a party that evening. 30 mins before I was due to pick up I got a call telling me that I needed to pay again as it had not registered there end. I explained the money had left my account and didn’t understand why I needed to pay twice. I was told by a very rude young man that he was doing me a favour and that if I didn’t pay again he would not process my order. The individual named Miriad was extremely rude refused to let me speak to management. I had to run to M&S and get a cake. When I phoned the next day as they had taken my money and not given me a cake the same gentleman answered again refusing to let me speak to management. This young man has no customer service skills and was extremely rude. I had to email head office before getting my money back. He also intercepted some of my emails and replied back very unprofessionally. I actually felt very attacked with the language of his email and his refusal to let me speak to a supervisor or management, his interception of my communication and general tone were all very unprofessional and left me knowing I will never buy another cake from the Bexleyheath branch.
I always come here for my birthday cakes and the cakes whatever the flavour are always moist and delicious.
